Deal With The Devil - S01 E94

❝Waffles and good news❞

Walking to the dining room is much harder and we were half an hour at it when you should be a minute or two. Sebastian had to help me the whole way and he never let go of me. Most of my body weight he held up but I was able to walk there, with his help of course. We make it to the dining room and he helps me sit down. "Finally, I've been waiting forever" Colt says on the other end of the table (as he was threatened by Sebastian and was forced to sit there at meals) which makes both Sebastian and I glare at him. 1

I'm out of breath by the time that I sit down and I can't be sure if that is because I was with Sebastian this entire time or because it was pretty hard to walk and there were times that I wanted to give up and make him carry me to the dining room but he refused. Told me that I had to do this and that I was strong enough to be able to walk. Over all he was sort of the reason why I actually made it.

Looking at the table to see that there is a waffle on my plate and everything that you can put on a waffle is on the table. I like mine with only strawberry jam and I put that on there but I notice that there is a cup with hot chocolate like Sebastian and I had yesterday, on the table in front of me. "So, who's excited to open presents" Colt randomly says as we are eating. He's literally saying the things that we're all thinking. I roll my eyes and lightly shake my head at him and his silliness.

"I really like these waffles" I speak as I look at Sebastian who only smiles at me and I can tell that he's just as happy as I am about this. "Good" Sebastian only says and I'm pretty sure he wants to say something else but there is a child like person by the table. Colt likes to laugh at everything that Sebastian says, and none of us know why that is. "What will we be doing today?" I ask Sebastian after a moment or two have passed by us as we eat in silence. 7

I have already finished two waffles and I'm pretty full as I also had a cup of hot chocolate. Now, I wish I was the type of person that can eat so much since I'm not that kind. "You, my dear Fawn are getting your first present though rather late as it was originally supposed to be your surprise" He says. As soon as those words have left his mouth I gasp. "You mean, Im finally going to know what that surprise is?" I ask him and he nods his head at my question which almost makes me want to let out a squeal.

That surprise has been a mystery that I've never been able to solve and it's impossible to try to get him to tell me anything about it since he always refused, told me to forget it. It seems he was the one that did not forget it. I had stopped asking about it three or four days ago and decided that I should forget it. "Let me guess, you're not going tell her" Colt peeps in and for a moment I had forgotten he was here as this has been the longest time that he has not said a word.

Sometimes it is pretty nice when he doesn't speak but it's also rather enjoyable to listen to him speak, that is if it isn't anything inappropriate or anything like that which is mostly what comes out of his mouth. Both Sebastian and IO glare at Colt once again and he only gives us an innocent smile. "This time there is no way to drive to your surprise as it is outside now" He tells me. I wonder what it is that could be outside in the snow. It can't be anything that gets ruined by water or by the cold.

"The only thing, you're going to have to walk there" He tells me, though I had already figured that part out. Knowing that I had to walk over there. The doctor said that once I begin walking, it's good to continue to walk and not rest for too long. Only to get my legs used to it again and make sure that I built up my strength. "Will it be something that I will like?" I ask him and he nods his head at me. "What is it?" I ask. I can't be sure what his surprise can be.

I know it was once far away that we had to drive for hours to reach it and we never even got there but now it's here and it's outside. That doesn't make any sense to me at all. We finish eating and then Sebastian helps me stand up while Colt only watches with a smirk on his face for some strange reason. Joy fills me up when Sebastian touches me as my body grows hotter and hotter without me knowing why that is happening but I think that is because of the love I feel for him.

"I can tell you're exited and you should be" Sebastian says to me and it makes me even more want to know what surprise he has in store for me. A surprise that has waited for so long but is finally going to be shown to me. "I am exited" I tell him and he chuckles as he helps me walk. It does hurt and the pain is shooting up my body from my legs and also my stomach but I can do this and I need to do this, I need to be able to walk normally.
