The rest of the day until late in the evening I worked with Sebastian and even when I did give him a hard time, I found myself enjoying it. He was grumpy the whole time, not once did he smile (not that he does so normally) at me and he was always ordering me around, though he did say please and thank you this time. Annoying as that is, he did say it, though I think it was only to make me madder at him which seems to be his goal now.

I sit in the car beside him, looking outside into the night with tired eyes and wanting nothing more than to go to sleep. "Now that I've seen your world, will I be treated as your equal?" I ask him. Honestly, I find it rather odd that he had to show me his world. It just made no sense and now that I've seen him, I don't see him any differently. I know that he is cruel and I did see him manipulate and threaten people into doing what he wants but I already knew that part since I am married to him.

He chuckles. "Fawn, you were not there for me to show you my world, I only said that to get you alone. You were there to get to know your world" He answers but I turn to look at him with the most confused expression that I can make. "What are you talking about?" I ask him. I don't even know if we're having the same conversion right about now. I only want to be his equal and treated as such, that's what I want and that is what I deserve. We are in this marriage together and we should respect one another. 8

Even when I do sometimes want to yell at him or do that most of the time but he pushes my buttons in a way that nothing else does. Getting to know my world? None of that makes any sort of sense. I look into his eyes to try to see what he is talking about but even the beauty can't tell me what is going on in his mind. "What you saw in there was what I have intended for you to own" He tells me as I raise en eyebrow at him. Intend for me? What does that mean exactly? 1

He sighs as he looks at me. "That company doesn't belong to me but it belongs to us and you are going to be the CEO in that building" He says and as soon as those words have passes his mouth my eyes widen and my jaw drops open in shock. Did I just hear him right? He wants me to be CEO of his company... our company? I don't know how but this does make me even more confused than I was before which is saying something. Perhaps I am just too tired to process the information as it's way past midnight and I'm exhausted after the day that I've had.

"Fawn, I mean exactly what I say" He tells me but that doesn't make any sense to me. "Why would you want me to be a CEO? I'm not qualified for something like that, I don't have the education and I have no clue what to do" I say but he doesn't seen like he is taking a no for an answer which I'm sure he isn't used to. "That is why I will be training you, of course" He answers but then before I could even ask more, he gets out of the car as we have arrived to his mansion. 9

Sighing in defeat I get out of the car but in my attempt of following him I lose, as he's faster than I am and is gone before I know it. Just when I need answers, he's gone. This only makes the anger grow inside me again but this time, I'm just too tired to act on it and I head inside. His butler or whatever that man is stands there when I enter the doors and for the first time he doesn't startle me which is a shock to me.

Without a word he leads me to the guest floor and it brings back memories from the first day that I was brought here, the day that we got married. I don't remember if he was the one that lead me there in the first place, I honestly don't remember that much of the day except for my own sorrow and sadness so I would not even be sure of anything. When I'm in the guest floor I close the door to see that Colt is sleeping on the couch.

Silently giggling and shaking my head at how the tray of cookies is on the table and all that is left of them are the crumbles that he has left. I had forgotten about him and the cookies for a moment as my anger was getting the best of me. I walk into my bedroom and close the door before I get into the pajamas and then I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth and do my business there before I go back into the bedroom.

I jump up when I see Sebastian standing there. He chuckles when I jumped up and saw how startled I got from seeing him there. Everything in me wants me to yell at him or at least be mad but the exhaustion overpowers the anger. "What are you doing here?" I ask him confused at why he stands there. He looks at me with those beautiful emerald green eyes. "I needed to see you" He says as he walks over to me. Standing in front of me and looking down at me, I look up at him. "Why?" I ask, my voice barely a whisper as I feel my heart beating faster. He begins to slowly lean in and I do too.
