We were yet to mourn our brother, and now, Papa was battling for his life under an Oxygen mask The doctor had given us worse news.

“The oxygen we’ve fixed already for him would last for today, and it costs 55,000 Naira. Sadly, after that runs out, we’ll have to take the oxygen off, pending when you pay for the one he’s used, and the new one attached. And I have to warn you, it he doesn’t get a new oxygen tank there’s a possibility he could die,” the doctor had announced to myself and younger siblings.

“But…” I tried to plead.

“We’re sorry madam, but this is hospital policy and I can’t go against it.”

That was yesterday’s evening and the oxygen tank was due to be empty by afternoon.

“Don’t tell me you’re bothering about 55,000 Naira. You have that much don’t you?” I heard a man ask.

I turned to find a man in a white Tsuedo, with a matching Louis Vuitton shoe. His aura was that of a man that had touched a lot of money.

“How do you know I need 55,000?,” I asked, surprised.

“Well, let’s say a little bird in the form of a nurse told me. Look, how about we skip the formalities and I get right down to business. Look, I’m willing to pay for the old man’s hospital expenses, and cover your family’s problems, I mean all of them if you willing to work with me,” He said in a conciliatory voice.

“What type of work?” I asked suspiciously.

He stared at me in a creepy way for some seconds before he declared,

“Well you’ll have to be trading that beautiful, curvy, sensuous body of yours.”

“You mean Ashewo work?,” I asked in surprise.

“Not exactly. I prefer to call it being a Call girl, But, Ashewo would perfectly describe it. Be my ashewo” he said with a grin.
