Encounter With The Last Spirit - S01 E03

As I couldn’t see anyone, I broke down in tears and started lamenting cos I knew that the end is near and here.

For few minutes, I didn’t see the Spîrit again. I stood up and entered the shrine to look for him because he is the only one that can help me.

“Help?”.

The spîrit that told me clearly few minutes ago that I am his sâcriifîce. There is no way he would save or help me.

Instead of going back inside the shrine, I decided to look for a way out of the place. The idea that came to my mind was going back through the route I and my elder brother passed through while coming to the village.

I started running furiously like a deer being chased by a hunter.

As I was running, suddenly, I hit my head on a very strong wall. I pointed the torchlight to my front but I couldn’t see any wall. What I saw was just a free road leading back to where I came from.

I stretched my hand forward to confirm my fear.

There was an invisible wall there. That was when it dawn on me that I have been held in a room.

I started gasping for breath when I looked behind and saw the spirit walking towards me with cutlass in his hand.

“It is time” he said and laughed as usual.

“Time for what? To dîe. Nooo. I’m not ready to dîe” I screamed as I began to run around.

The spirit still didn’t run after me, probably because I have been tamed inside with him by a wall.

When I couldn’t run anymore, I stopped to catch my breath. I know don’t have any chance there. The place is a spîritual world and there was no way for me to escape.

It is either I continue running around or just gently release myself for the sacriîfice.

As I was busy resting on the floor I sat on, I screamed loudly when I saw the Spîrit now standing right before me. That was the first move he has made towards me.

I was gripped to the ground with fear. I couldn’t move. Even when I saw him raising the cûtlass up, I was just looking at him like a helpless rabbit.

He raised the cutlass up and in seconds aimed it towards my head with a kîlling intent.

I screamed loudly. Even when he cût off my head, I was still screaming.

“Water, more water please” my brother screamed.

They poured the water on my head and I woke up to see my brother and some priest standing around me in the shrine.

“We heard your scream two hours ago, and when we entered this place, you where unconscious since”.

I concluded that I was actually been paranoid. There was no spirit.
