Diana’s POV

I woke up on my wedding day to a loud knock on my front door, I went to open up and found my father standing in the doorway. He said to me you are still in your night wear? I didn’t have time to answer before he asked again do you know what time it is? I then looked into the living room at my apartment to the wall clock and saw that it was 10 am and my wedding was supposed to be at 12 pm. I started panicking and asked my father what am I going to do? He said I should go and take my bath while he fixed me something to eat and I asked him can you cook? He said don’t worry I’ll manage. I went into my bathroom and first of all brushed my teeth, took my bath in the tub and after I had a shower. After my morning rituals, I came out to the living room to find my father chatting with Lillian and her friend Joan. I almost forgot that they spent the night at my house. Then I asked them would you like to be in my bridal train? Joan was the first person to say yes and started jumping. I went to the kitchen and found my breakfast which my father had made it was a plate of French toast and a cup of coffee. I ate the food savouring the taste when my father walked into the kitchen and said I see you are enjoying the meal? I was startled and I told him as much and he said sorry for startling you and he said we are supposed to be at the church in and he looked at the time on his wristwatch and exclaimed shit 15 minutes! He added you aren’t yet dressed? I finished up my coffee and walked into my bedroom and went straight to my closet and pulled out my wedding gown it was still in the box I wore it but it was difficult for me to zip it up and I called dad and he came rushing to my room and asked what’s the problem? I told him to zip me up and he did. After this, I told Lillian to come into my room and help me put some makeup on my face when she was done, she wanted to park my hair up but I told her not to that Charles loved my hair unpacked. When we were done, I came out of the room in my wedding gown and my father said wow you look just like your mother when we got married. I said thank you and I asked where are Lillian and Joan? He said that they had gone to the church to wait for us. He led me out of the apartment to a waiting limousine around 11.15 am and we drove to the church.

Charles’s POV

I woke up around 7 am on the day of my wedding and went for a jog around the place I lived. After jogging for about 1 hour, I returned home and went into my work out room. I lifted some weights, got on the chest expander, used the dumbbells and did all manner of exercises. After exercising, I went for an ice bath in order to keep my muscles in shape. Later on I made myself some breakfast of a bowl of cereal and some bread. After a while I heard a knock on my door and when I went to open and saw my best friend and best man Daniel standing in the doorway and he asked may I come in? I said sure you can and gave way for him to walk in. He walked into my apartment. Then he said what a nice apartment you have here and I told him thank you. He sat on the couch and asked me so how are you preparing for your wedding? I said come to think of it and I went to the safe in my room and brought out the ring I was going to give Diana and handed it to him for him to give it to me once we are in the church and the priest asks for it. Then he told me that his brother Nate was in town for my wedding and I said is that so and he said yes. Then I went and wore my clothes my beautiful black suit and trouser with a white shirt inside I also wore a black bowtie and a pair of black designer shoes. When I was done dressing, I went to take a look at myself in the mirror and I must admit I looked really good and I asked Daniel how do I look? He said you look dashing as usual and I thanked him for the complement. Daniel was fully dressed so we headed to the church for my wedding. We left my apartment around 10.30 am and due to heavy traffic, we arrived the church 45 minutes later and then started the waiting. We waited for Diana to show up and Daniel asked me are you sure that Diana didn’t develop cold feet? I said no I don’t think so and he asked when was the last time you spoke with her? I said I don’t know maybe two or three days ago. Daniel said you are a fool and I asked him why? He said a woman you are going to marry today you didn’t call or chat with her for two to three days! I started to think on Daniel’s words, when the church organ started playing here comes the bride.
