The Devil now has the upper hand and now he’s assembling his army to strike once more. After The Supreme Witch brought me to Aunt Jezebel’s house, she went back to Ibadan claiming she had something’s to take care of.

After her departure, I went around the house looking for my wife, Moments later, I found Christen in Aunt Jezebel’s guest room, she was laying in bed quietly not even noticing my presence, as I called out her name, She sat up instantly staring at me, there was a smile of relief on her face and after that she rushed towards me giving me a slap and a hug.

Christen YOU FOOL (slaps and hugs Riley)

Riley Ouch! Was that necessary?

Christen How did you get here?

Riley Orisaye brought me here.. Where’s your Aunt?

Christen Never mind that… I’m glad you’re okay… We could have been enjoying each other’s company in our bedroom but you chose your stupid meeting.

Riley I’m sorry… That won’t happen again.. I was told that Amon visited you? I hope he hasn’t done anything to you or the baby?

Christen No… He just wants me to be his and I said no. Now he wants me dead.

Riley Don’t mind him.. The Lord will protect us. Where’s Ebinoluwa?

Christen That’s what I’ve been worried about.. I haven’t heard from her.

Riley God! We have to find her.

In that moment, Rose walked into the room laughing hysterically, her hair was rough and her clothes were a little bit squeezed. Lionel too walked in right after her scratching his head like a guilty school boy that had did something wrong.

Rose (laughing) Little sister.. You’re here as well? Hello RILEY!

Christen Rose, are you alright?

Rose I’m fine.. I just found out that I’m… Excuse me.

Rose instantly disappeared leaving the 3 of us in the room, after a while she came back into the room wiping her mouth.

Lionel Rose.. Calm down.

Riley What’s going on with the 2 of you? Did something happen?

Rose Unfortunately yes… I’m p… I’m..

Lionel She’s pregnant.

Riley/Christen WHAT!?

Rose (mimicking christen) War?… Are you blind? Didn’t you see what’s going on?…Demons now rule Ibadan and if something is not done, they will rule the whole country.

Riley What do you suggest we do?

Hearing my sister’s ridiculous outburst about attacking Amon and his demons made me twitch uncomfortably. I don’t doubt the fact Rose is strong but this time around things won’t go the way she expects cause Amon’s magic power has skyrocketed.

Christen I don’t think that’s a good idea.

Rose What?

Christen Amon is powered up like crazy.. I was lucky to escape with my life.

RILEY How did he power up?

Christen There was a Red Gem with him. As hr attacked me, the gem glowed boosting his powers.

RILEY Gem??… Could it be the DEVIL’S EYE?

Rose It is. The B-stard finally possesses it.

RILEY Well, that’s like déjà vu… It’s just like Lucas.

Christen No.. It’s not.. Amon’s magic is stronger and darker than Lucas.

Rose. All the same.. We will defeat him.

Lionel What do you mean “WE”?

Rose. I wasn’t talking to you.

Christen If you’re suggesting the 3 of us then you must be out of your mind.

Rose I never said the 3 of us. Oliver, Esther and every other supernatural being in the hangout will join us. I just sent Nancy to spread the word around, she should be here any minute with our own small army.

RILEY Hold on.. Christen is pregnant and so are you.. You both can’t possibly think of fighting in this war.

Rose I’m fine and so is your wife.

Tension rose up between Rose and Lionel as they stared into each other’s eyes. Normally, Rose would massacre or strike anyone dead for talking to her like that but for some reason, she was hesitating really hard not to smash Lionel and as for the latter, He was really scared cause he knew what my sister was capable of but he stood his ground and held onto his courage.

Before anything could happen, Ebinoluwa suddenly appeared in our midst with her unconscious friend in hand.

Christen Ebinoluwa…

Ebinoluwa Mother..

RILEY Adupe lowo Olorun… (Thank God)…. Ebinoluwa.

Christen Thank goodness you’re safe… What happened to your friend? Where are her parents?

Ebinoluwa … They’re gone.

Lionel Jesus Christ..

Ebinoluwa (sad) I told…. I told them to leave the house.. But.. They didn’t listen.

Rose Serves them right.

RILEY Don’t listen to your Aunt.. Fate definitely had a hand in this..

Rose What are you going to do with the little insect?

RILEY We’ll raise her.

RILEY Come on… She has no one.. We’re not even sure if her relatives are alive.. If there’s any chance they’re alive, we’ll take her to them but if they’re not.. We’ll keep her, after all, she and Ebinoluwa are close.

Christen RILEY.. She’s human. It’s not like I’m objecting but how can she cope with us?

Ebinoluwa She can. She knows I’m a witch. Her mother pleaded with me on her last breath that we should take Morenike in.

Christen (sighs) Okay.. We’ll take her.. Poor child. What an unpleasant age to lose her parents.

I was Infuriated when Rose suggested that my only daughter should be as a weapon, There was no way in hell I was going to allow that, I looked at RILEY hoping he would say something but his mind was far away from what was currently happening.

Christen RILEY!!?

RILEY What?

Christen Say something!!! Your daughter is about to be used as a weapon.. You can’t just stand there and do nothing.

RILEY I’m thinking..

Rose Running away (laughs)

RILEY I know how we can defeat Amon.

Rose Really? With what? Your cowardice (laughs)

Christen Rose.. Please stop, this isn’t the time to be funny.

RILEY Christen do you know how we stopped Lucas?

RILEY Listen to me.. Amon uses the gem to boost his powers right?

Christen Yes.. So?

RILEY Without his powers that gem won’t be of any use to him.

Rose So what are you saying?

Ebinoluwa We lock his powers using the Trinity Seal.

Riley Brilliant Ebi.. Absolutely Brilliant.

Rose Hold on.. We lock his powers and then what?

RILEY He’ll be powerless and you guys can destroy him with ease.

Ebinoluwa Then we destroy the gem.

RILEY Why? Let’s just take it back to council for safe keeping.

Ebinoluwa No.. That gem has already caused enough trouble.. It’s best if it’s destroyed once and for all.

Rose I agree with the little one. Let’s destroy it.

RILEY Okay.. What can we destroy it with?

Ebinoluwa Magic.

Rose Good! Now that we have a plan.. It’s time we execute it.

Riley When?

Christen That’s insane.. We can’t.

Rose Oh we will.

In that moment, Nancy barged into the room with a bottle of wine in her hands, She was obviously wasted but she looked sober and strong on her feet.

Nancy (laughs) Rose..

Rose My.. That didn’t take long. What did you say to them?

Nancy Your name (laughs)

Rose Alright everyone… Get ready.. War is coming. (Laughs)

Here in the Witches Realm, Most of the prominent Witches/Wizards have gathered in the council hall to discuss on how to solve the issue.

After listening to so many arguments, Aunt Jezebel stands up and gives her own opinion about the matter.

Jezebel Greetings ladies and Gentlemen and Esteemed council members.. I have a something to say.

Orisaye Speak!

Jezebel It’s been 24 hours now since Ibadan has been ransacked by demons and we all know who the criminal is.. But before I give my own answer, we just first handle our other problem which is maintain the law of nature.

We cannot allow these demons to get outside Ibadan.. We must confined and deal with them here.

Orisaye So what are you suggesting?

Jezebel I suggest we use the Pyramid barrier to restrict anyone from going in and out of ibadan.. It’s the strongest barrier and can withstand a thousand drops of nuclear and any magic attack.

WC1 I agree but what about the city?? Travelers might see smoke rising from the city.

Jezebel It’s simple.. An illusion spell should fool their sights… We’ll just cast a strong illusion spell around the city making it look as if everything is normal.

Orisaye Nice suggestion Jezebel but all that has already been handled, now tell us about your plan.

Before Aunt Jezebel could say anything, A Young wizard rushes into the council hall and interrupts the meeting.

The Wizard keeps quiet for a while before looking at Orisaye’s eyes, he still hesitates looking gloomy. Realizing that the wizard is hiding something, The Supreme Witch orders him to speak.

Orisaye Out with it.. What happened?

Wizard Your eminence.. The battle was won at a cost…

Wizard The human, Christen’s human husband..is dead.
