‘Is everything ready??’..i asked Madam Pat as i walked down the castle stairs outside…

‘Yes sire’..She replied bowing her head down and i nodded…

‘Where is Queen Elena??’…I asked…

‘She’s in a bad mood that’s what,she’s been saying something about not wanting to go anymore and how sore her back is’…She replied…

‘But that’s not possible she was the one who wanted to go to the Royal Ville??’..I said frowning and when she shrugged and I stomped away angrily…

She can’t be this immature??…

She was the one who convinced me to go to the Royal Ville and now she’s not going??…

‘Elena?? What is the meaning of this??’..I asked as soon as I walked in on her writhing in pain…

‘What?? Ohh the Royal Ville?? I’m not going anymore’..She replied through her gritted teeth and i frowned..

‘You forced me with your shredded tears and I agreed to going with you even though i was in a bad mood and now you say you’re not going?!!Elena what is wrong with you it’s like you’re on a mood swing or something!!’..I yelled and she bursted into tears again…

‘Fine!!! Fine I’m going I’m going,just wait here I’ll go change!!’..She whimpered standing from her bed towards her changing room…

There was a red dot in at the bottom of her gown and even though her gown was filled with red polka dots this one stood out…

‘Ughhh this stupid zipper won’t work!!!’..I heard her groan as she came out wearing a blue strap dress that clung to her thighs..

A burst of adrenaline shot through my veins and I gulped hard seeing how beautiful she looked even with a scowl on her face…

‘Here let me help you’..I offered..

‘No thanks i almost got it’..She grumbled still forcing her zipper on and I frowned again…

‘Elena love,let me help you’..I said more gently this time and she raised her hand in mock surrender…

‘Okay then go fish’..

‘Did you just say go fish??’..

‘What it’s a catchy phrase and…’..Her voice trailed off and she nipped at her bottom lip like she was in some kind of pain or something…

‘Are you okay??’..I asked as the zipper got unstuck..

‘Yeah..yeah i am I’m just a little bit flustered that’s all’..She replied and walked away briskly like she was trying to get away from me…

Sometimes this woman is lovable and most times she’s annoying…

And today she’s really trying to piss me off with her mood swings…

It’s like she’s hiding something from me and it’s really taking a piece of my iceberg…

The coach started moving and just before we could reach anywhere Elena grumbled under her breath almost forty times and sat opposite to where I was…

‘Is there something I should know?? Are you pregnant?’..i asked and she scoffed..

‘I’m a virgin remember??’..

‘I can change that if you want??’..I muttered under my breath and she shot me haughty glare…

‘Fine but you’ve been so moody and it’s really getting on my nerves’…I said smiling at her softly and her cheeks flushed…

I just don’t know why but ever since I confessed my feelings I’ve been smiling like a happy dog…

What is love doing to me??…

‘Javier please move away I don’t like the way you’re looking at me’..She finally said after a moment of silence…

‘I love you Elena so how am I supposed to look at you?!!’..i yelled with my temper rising..

‘Just stay away from me please just for today’..She replied..

‘Coachman turn this coach around please’..I said..

‘Javier?!! What are you doing?!’..She asked jerking from her seat..

‘We are going back home queen Elena!! What’s the need of going for a vacation when I’m going to be staying away from you!!! You’ve been acting all strange all morning and it’s really annoying knowing for a fact that you’re the one who forced me into this!!! If you’re angry with me just say it! If you’re mad at me just say it but don’t play the dumb game with me!!’..i yelled and she bursted into tears..

Oh God!!..

‘you don’t understand cause you’re a man!!! You would never understand!!’..

‘Well if i don’t understand then make me!! Jesus Christ Elena we can’t be having problems now?? It’s too early for all this!!’..I said aloud and she frowned..

‘Look just stay out of my business okay?!!! You’re driving me crazy!!’..She cried out closing her legs nervously…

‘Well fine then!! Keep acting like the annoying person you are!!’..

‘I hate you Javier!!’..

‘And i love you too so just shut up or one more word from you and we’re going home!!’..

CALLA’S POV❤️

‘Lady Maddy you’re here again’..I muttered under my breath as Lady Maddy stepped out of her coach..

‘Yeah I’m here,your father asked me to keep you company since we’re friends’…She replied and i almost let out a scoff..

If Lady Maddy is the definition of a friend then I prefer to be friendless forever even if she’s the only person in this world…

‘Ohhh well i was planning on leaving for the castle and…

‘The Castle??’…She cut in..

‘Yeah..yeah the castle what about it??’..i replied and she chuckled..

‘Well the King and Queen aren’t around if I must say,I saw their coach and it seems like they’re going on a honeymoon of some sort’..She said..

‘What?!!..b..but that isn’t possible?!! The king doesn’t take note of such frivolous things?!!’..i yelled with my blood rising and her brows arched..

‘And how is that any of your concern Lady Calla?? He’s a married man and you’re a spinster’..

‘W..well’..

‘Well what??’..

‘Nothing pardon my manners,you know the king and i were such good friends so it’s kind of surprising how he changed so fast’..I said..

‘Well Queen Elena has changed him no doubt,i really like her even though she isn’t very lady like.She’s one of the most wonderful persons I’ve ever met’..She said and i almost choked..

Can’t the ground just open and swallow me??..

It was already evening when the coach arrived at the Royal Ville Castle…

The maids and servants who keeps the place still beautiful all rushed out to meet Elena and i..

‘Welcome your highnesses i am Baileywick,the Royal Steward at your service’..A middle aged man wearing a waistcoat with a pocket watch in it said as he bowed down ..

‘Ohh Bailey i remember you!! I used to come here as a kid remember and you used to beg me to come down from the oak tree’..i replied reminiscing my childhood moments and he smiled at me warmly..

‘Can we please just go inside already I’m tired!!’..Elena said aloud in an unlikely manner..

‘What’s with your mood swings Elena and why do you look so pale??’..i asked..

‘You won’t understand let’s just go’..she gritted and walked away and then i noticed another red dot..

Why do her clothes always have that??..

‘Elena let’s go to my room i need to talk to you’..i murmured as we got inside the modernized castle..

‘Why?? What’s there to talk about??’..She asked and i dragged her into one of the rooms…

‘Hey what was that for?!!’..

‘Don’t lie to me Elena!! Just say the truth are you pregnant?!’..i asked..

‘Hell no I’m not pregnant I’m just in my…

‘In your what Elena?!! Cause i just don’t get why you’ve been hiding the pain you’ve been going through all morning and your mood swings!!!’..I screamed….

‘Look Javier it’s my…it’s…it’s my time of the month’..She stuttered..

‘Your time of the month what are you talking about??’..i asked..

‘Jeez Javier you’re a man don’t you get it!! Gosh how can you be this clueless!!’..She screamed and walked out on me…
