‘Your highness!! Your highness I can explain it’s not what you think!!’..Gregory begged as he went down on his knees…

‘So you are working for the council of doom?? Oh my God Gregory you’re my royal assistant!! I trusted you!!’..I yelled and he bursted into tears as three guards dragged him away…

‘You don’t understand your highness he’s got my sister!! He has my sister!!’..He cried out until his voice died down…

I’ve been so busy being arrogant that I couldn’t even sense my Royal assistant as a snitch!!!…

I have traitors under my nose and in this castle that I don’t even know of??..

Who am I going to trust now??..

‘Ja…’..Elena tried to say but I held my hands up to her…

‘Not another word Elena go to your room!!!’..i yelled..

I angry stomped into my room with tears in my eyes and covered myself with the blanket..

I know it’s a shocker knowing that Gregory is a traitor but…

Jeez why didn’t i even think of him??…

Now Javier is so mad that he even screamed at me…

‘Lady Elena you’ve got to wake up!!!’..Madam Pat yelled as and I jerked up from my sleep immediately…

‘What??’..i asked almost freaking out seeing her horrid face…

‘The king..The king..’..She panted heavily and i rested my a hand on her shoulder…

‘Breathe Madam Pat…Breathe..Now tell me what’s going on??’..i asked..

‘Gregory is out there getting the slash of his life My queen,he’s gonna be flogged to death’..She cried out and my eyes widened in horror..

‘What??! He can’t do that?!! He just can’t do that??’..I yelled and wore my robe not even caring about what the servants would say and ran outside the castle…

Gregory was tied to a pole and was being whipped to death by a masked man…

With every cry my heart bled and with every ounce of blood falling to the ground I winced…

The horrible sight just took me back to the first time I watched passion of Christ…

‘Stop this!!’..i said adamantly as I walked over to Javier who’s eyes were cold and his mouth was grim..

‘It is what it is Elena,he’s a traitor’..he said and I held onto his arm..

‘Javier please we’ve talked about this!! Don’t do this him? What about his family?’..I begged trying to use the puppy eye trick on him but he clearly ignored..

‘He should have thought about that before betraying North ridge and joining the council of doom’..He said gently pushing my hands off his..

I won’t let him this time..

I won’t let his anger overcome him again…

‘Hold up Javier! Think! Don’t let your emotions get in your way of thinking??’..i said and he held his hands up signaling the executioner to stop the lashing…

‘You’ve got 5mins to speak or else you’re going to join him’..He muttered under his breath and I gasped…

I’ve never seen a loving man change so quickly when angry??..

‘Javier look,you know I love you and whatever I say is true,he screamed something about his sister of some sort..They..They might have captured his sister and to let her go he has to do their bidding’..I explained..

‘You’re saying nonsense’..He scoffed and with my temper rising I raised his hands and started hitting myself…

‘Hit me Javier!! Slap me!! Punch me?!!’..I cried out..

‘Elena what are you doing??’..He asked..

‘Beat me up your highness cause whenever you’re angry you never think!!! You just do and you hurt the people around you!! Think of Gregory,he’s been your Royal assistant for years and since you’ve never suspected him!! What do you think pushed him to betray you??’..I yelled with his hands still on my cheeks…

‘They have her your…y..your highness,Claudia.They have my sister Claudia and she’s just 12 and if I don’t do whatever they ask they would —

‘So you decided to endanger the whole of Northridge because of your little sister?? Great!!! Just absolutely great!! Guards take him back to the dungeon!!’..Javier replied and I sighed deeply as Gregory was carried away…

‘Help me’..I heard him whisper and at that moment tears bursted out of my eyes…

‘Are you happy now?? You’re happy now right?? You just saved him from being flogged to death well done Queen Elena’..Javier said from behind me in a sarcastic manner and walked away before I could say anything else…

‘Queen mother Ariel??’..i whimpered and lurched into the arms of Javier’s mother..

‘He needs time Elena,Betrayal is something Javier doesn’t take too well.I guess he’s forgotten about Kara and now Gregory’s betrayal has just added salt to the healing wound’..She replied as I sobbed…

‘He’s really mad at me and now I don’t know what to do’..i murmured and she chuckled softly…

‘Well you love him don’t you??’..

‘Yeah I do,I love him very much’..

‘Then it shouldn’t be a problem then,Javier might be so angry that he could even slap me but he would never say no to the woman he loves…I..was thinking??..How about the both of you go to North ridge royal ville’..She said..

‘Royal ville?? What is that??’..i asked..

‘Well it’s a place where the king and queen go to rest after hectic work in the castle…how do you think Javier was conceived??’..She replied winking and my cheeks flushed…

‘So you think that i should convince Javier to come with me to Royal Ville??’..I asked and she nodded..

‘You should do that my sweet and you might wanna do that fast cause he gets really cranky when stressed out and angry’..She said and I sobbed into her arms again…

I sniffed loudly as I came out from the bathroom with a fur robe wrapped around my body…

Just before I could say or do anything else i heard a knock on my door…

‘Elena go away’..I murmured angrily but she came in anyway…

‘It’s been almost a day Javier and you just decided to ignore me’..She lashed at me and even though her hair was all wet thus having an effect on me I winced…

‘I can do whatever i want to do Elena it’s none of your business’..I said…

‘Javier it’s either you stay angry or come with me!!! What is even wrong with you?! Fine you’re angry I get it but it doesn’t mean you should shut me out?!’..She screamed..

‘Come with you to where??’..i asked ignoring her tantrum..

‘The Royal Ville’..She replied and i scoffed…

‘I’m not going’..

‘Why??’..

‘Because I don’t want to’..

‘Why?’..

‘You can go ahead Elena i don’t care’..

‘Fine then I’ll go with Tonio’..

‘Javier?!!’..She cried out and I smirked lightly…

‘Yeah I know that,you don’t care about me even though you claim to love me!! I gave you a choice King Javier…it’s either you stay angry of come with me.I won’t beg you and I won’t force you but when i go through that door I’ll make sure you never talk to me again and I’ll never love you!!!’..She screamed in tears and I rubbed my temple frustratingly…

‘Okay fine then!!! Fine I would come with you to the whatever ville and i won’t get angry anymore!! Are you happy now jeez you’re such a devil!!’..
