‘I will not have you disrespect me or my mother with this kind of attitude and outfit Elena!! What on earth are you doing??’…I asked with my eyes already blazing in anger…

‘Ohhh well let me guess…I don’t care about what people think Javier,you’re the one who wants to marry me remember??’..She replied and my fists clenched tightly…

‘You want to play dirty right?? You want to ruin the engagement party right?? Well think again Elena cause you’re d--n wrong!!! The engagement ceremony starts in thirty minutes that means there’s still enough time to put you in order,guards!!!’..I yelled and two guards heeded to my call..

‘Take Lady Elena to her room and have madam Pat dress her in one of my finest silks and put her in order’..I ordered and they nodded dragging Elena away despite her protest..

‘Wh..What?? Let me go you monsters!! Curse you Javier Orlando curse you!!!’..She yelled continually until her voice faded..

Well then its time to entertain my guests…

‘His highness King Javier Orlando the third has arrived’…The Royal Bard said at the sound of the trumpet and everyone in the ball room bowed to acknowledge my presence…

Even though his daughter is the only person I trust in North ridge there’s still something odd about him but i just can’t put my finger on it…

‘You have to remove that stupid thought or whatever feeling you have from your head Calla,you are never going to marry Javier’..Dad said as he paced around the room angrily…

‘Dad but I love him,I’ve always loved him since childhood and you know it,why can’t I be with him??’..I questioned trying to stop my tears from ruining my makeup…

‘Because you are my daughter for starters,he doesn’t love you and he’s going be someone’s husband in few days!!! You can’t love a soon to be married man for heavens sake!! Has all my doctrine disappeared in your tiny brain?!!’..He yelled and I muffled a whimper..

‘Dad I don’t want anybody else if not Jared.Fine I know he’s going to be married but if there’s one thing I’m sure of is that Javier loves me more than that Lady Elena,they don’t even like each other father they’re just being forced to wed each other!!’..I cried out and the next thing I knew a slap landed on my face..

‘You will go back to that party Calla and call off your friendship with Javier,you will act like the proper court lady you are and you will charm on of the respectable men in there to be your suitor am I understood?!!’..He screamed and I gulped hard..

‘Calla am I understood?!!’..He added..

‘Yes father,your wish is my command’..I replied and he left angrily..

There is no way I’m going to let Elena and Javier have a successful marriage..

I love him and she doesn’t!!..

I was there for him when he was sick,happy and sad..

I nurtured his wounds and was there whenever he needed me..

Elena and stood face to face in front of Lord Bachor who was holding the ring..

I could have just worn her the ring but the North ridge law states that no one can get married if a proper engagement ceremony isn’t held..

‘Here you go your highness’..Lord Bachor said handing the five carat ring over to me…

I shot a look at Elena who just sneered in return and reluctantly slipped the ring on her finger…

‘Hear Ye! Hear Ye!’..Everyone in the ballroom cheered and I left the stand immediately forcefully grabbing Elena along..

‘Ughh this dress is itchy’..She groaned and I frowned..

There is no way I would let her change out of that dress not when she’s looking like that..

I would be the only one to strip her out of that dress and man rough love to her right on the spot..

‘She looks beautiful’..Calla muttered from behind me and I smiled..

‘Yeah she does,Calla we need to talk and since I’ll be busy later it’s advisable we talk now’…I said..

I gave Lord Richard a flirting smile and he returned it by raising his glass at me…

Before I could even walk over to share a drink with him Javier dragged me into a dark corner where no one could see us.

‘What on earth is wrong with you?? Why would you drag me like that?!’..I asked with a frown on my face..

‘I’ve tolerated enough from you just in this engagement party but one thing I won’t tolerate is telling my best friend to stay away from me!’..He screamed and the next thing I knew a light slap landed on my face.

‘There are a lot of things I can tolerate but I can’t tolerate you slapping me you bastard!!! Who do you think you are’?!!’..i yelled back already in tears…

She lied again??..

But I haven’t even spoken to her and she seems so nice and innocent so why would she lie??..

‘Calla!!!’…I screamed not bothering about the guests in the ball room and slapped the b*tch’s cheeks so hard that she fell to the floor…
