Love is not what you expect. It is not a bed of roses, its not a cup of tea, it’s a path full of thorns and a lake of fire.

Running away was the only option left, I could stay and lose Adesewa or run and have her. So I choose to flee. We have nothing to guide us both the love we shared.

We arrived at jos, exactly 10 o’clock in the morning, it was a beautiful sight for us, neither of us has been there before , the city was surrounded with hills and mountains and the weather was quite favorable.

” Adesewa, welcome to a new world ” I said trowing a smile at her.

” yea, a world with the only man I love. That’s all I ever dream of”. she said.

it is a miracle to love a person who cannot love anyone except you. Adesewa is that person that show me what love really is.

No matter which stage of life you are at. If you are in love, it will keep you young and energetic.

We lodged at a hotel the first week of our arrival, then I later secure a self contain apartment which we later moved in the following week. I have some little savings and Adesewa also have some amount of money in her account, the little money we have helped us alot. I was able to buy some food stuffs in the house and also buy some needed things.

A month after our arrival, I set out to look for a job, the money we had left can barely feed us for a month, things are quite expensive and as a man, I need to work and feed my home.

I began going from one office to another, attending different interviews, tendering my certificate where needed be. I wrote a lot of applications but I got no reply. I was worried but Adesewa was always there to cheer me up. She’s such a wonderful lady.

I went for an interview one day and I came back feeling totally bad. Adesewa welcome me home with a smile but my mind was very heavy.

Adesewa : my love what’s wrong? You seem a little edgy.

Me: its about the interview.

Adesewa : how was it?

Me: it was a wash out.

Adesewa : am sorry dear, everything will be alright.

Me: Adesewa tell me when it will be alright. Am jobless how will I be able to take care of you and the baby to come.

Adesewa : my love, when there’s life there’s hope, don’t be devastated. Even if you don’t have a job yet, that will never change my love for you. I believe God will soon answer our prayer. So cheer up my dear.

Me: am so bless to have a woman like you.

Adesewa : and am happy to have a loving man like you.

Me: I love you so much Adesewa.

Adesewa : l love you too Ay. I prepared rice, let’s go and eat together.

Me: where do you see money to prepare food?

Adesewa : you don’t have to worry ayomi, let go and eat first you must be very hungry by now.

Me: Adesewa you are amazing

Adesewa : please, am not good at blushing.

Me: I know I can see it all over you.

Adesewa : hmmm… Ay let go and eat before its get cold.
