Read Read: SEASON 2 EPISODE 34
The moonlight gleaned against the knife Bobby held, casting a murderous flash on Collette’s face.
Collette watched as Bobby stepped into the room, closing the door shut with his leg.
He was sure to bolt the door so it was just going to be him, Collette and Sharon.
The end of his cigarette burned while he smoked and there was that far away look in his eyes as he regarded Collette closely.
” So you must be Lucy’s girlfriend, isn’t that right?” He asked, stepping fully into the room. ” Now not one of you dare scream. I’m not afraid to throw my knife on you two so why don’t you girls just seat down real nice and quiet.”
Sharon remained on the floor, covering her mouth but her body was shaking from fear of being killed.
She knew Bobby was an expert with knives. He could attack them easily without stress if he wanted to.
Collette composed herself, settling on Lucy’s bed; her white washed face tried to remain calm and deadpan.
It was as much as she could do to keep a straight face. Whenever she was like this, she was thinking, calculating and plotting.
Her eyes searched the room for a likey weapon of defense but she made sure she didn’t give Bobby the impression she was up to something.
Feeling confident, Bobby entered fully into the room, he stood in-between Collette and Sharon.
He was sure he can handle Sharon but Collette was a different person so he faced her.
” What do you want?” Collette asked in a bid to get him talking.
Bobby showed his teeth. They were yellow capped teeth and they stink too. ” What I want? I want justice, I want discipline, I want respect!”
Collette found it difficult to understand what he meant by his last statement.
Bobby pointed his knife at Sharon. ” This fúcking slúttish bítch cheated on me with another dude during the holidays and after everything, had the guts to break up with me!”
Sharon shook her head. ” That’s a lie! You….you were the one cheating on me. Also, you physically abuse me all the time. I couldn’t stand it anymore so I broke up with you. If you had really loved me, then you should have come pleading for a second chance with the promises that you’d stop abusing me. I’d have considered it but you acted like you don’t care.”
Bobby turned sharply to her and his eyes burned. ” Was that enough reason to replace me with someone else?”
” But I already told you it’s over between us,” Sharon lamented. ” Can’t you try to forget about me? I’ve had enough physical abuses from you. Just this evening, you broke my arm!”
Bobby returned his eyes back to Collette. ” You heard her, right? She thinks I abuse her all the time. It’s not even up to three weeks after our break up and she’s already gotten a new boyfriend. Women! I can never seemed to understand them. The nígger she picked for a boyfriend ain’t good looking like me nor is he rich or satisfying and yet she chose him. She chose a vegetable over me. As in…” He turned to Sharon and shouted at her. ” You no De fear face?”
Collette had to admit, Sharon had guts. Way more than she was ever going to have. For a girl who isn’t afraid to smuggle her boyfriend into school and break up with a Cultists to hook up with someone new, Sharon was probably the bravest girl she had ever seen.
But that wasn’t her problem now. Bobby doesn’t look sane. You never know with Cultists and that knife was too dangerous. She had to get the knife away from his hand.
Bobby snarled at Sharon. ” You’re lucky you ran away else I’d have broken your neck,” he paused to draw in smoke from his cigarette. ” And then you chose to report me to Collette. What makes you think she can stop me from Killing you right here, right now.”
Those words froze Sharon. She knew Bobby too well to know he wasn’t bluffing about that.
” If you hadn’t ran away, I’d have considered your life but slipping off my hands to report me to Collette was foolish. I guess you’re not worth keeping anymore.”
There it was out in the open. He was going to kill her.
Collette scanned the room. Her eyes settled on the chair beside her bed. If only she could smash it over Bobby’s head.
Bobby hadn’t thought about the chair. His entire focus was fixed on Sharon and Collette.
He played with his knife. ” Now what do I do with your corpses?” He paused, thinking for a while. ” I could kill you two and leave you to rot in the bathroom. How about that?”
No one answered him. Collette was edging towards the chair, keeping her eyes locked on Bobby.
Bobby Continued talking. ” There’s no point letting either of you live, is there? You’ll give me away. I like it in QA. It’s not Everytime you get the chance to hang around at all girl’s school. Especially when you’re used to fúcking most of the girls.”
Collette stiffened when she heard that. She turned slowly to him. ” Come again.”
Bobby laughed. ” Oh you think Sharon’s the only girl I screw in school? There are countless other girls in this school who knows I’m a guy. All I can offer is good díck and satisfaction and they in turn let me hang around the rooms.”
Collette couldn’t believe her ears. How was it she never knew about these?
If what Bobby was saying is true, then he probably had been sleeping with some of the girls in school for over a long time.
” And who are these girls?” Collette asked. She was after information.
” Ah, some graduating students,” he said carelessly, flickering ashes to the floor. ” Anastasia, Ginny, Lovett and Rene.”
Collette recognized those names. They were the names of her classmates.
Collette was Soo close to the chair, all she had to do was snatched it up and hurl it at Bobby.
But she had to be cautious. Everything requires planning. She had no idea how fast Bobby was with a knife.
She waited.
Bobby held his knife close to himself. He seemed high on drugs for he was spilling out unknown words from his mouth.
” Now who should I kill first?” He asked himself.
His eyes darted to Sharon who was close to the wall. He can take care of Sharon. He had already broken her arm. If he could strangle her, it’d be easy to get rid of her.
And then there was Collette.
He was wary of her. She was Soo calm and cool about everything that he became suspicious. He didn’t think of the chair close to her and the devasting effect it would have on him if she did happen to use it.
This girl could be dangerous. He will get rid of her first then come for Sharon later.
He began approaching her, keeping his knife close to himself. From experience, he knew how tricky it was using a knife. Collette might fight back. He had to be on his guard.
He kept coming, keeping a safe distance between him and Collette.
Collette watched him, sweat beads forming over her forehead.
When he was close enough, her hands grabbed the head of the chair and swung it at him.
Bobby saw the chair and he dodged it, jumping back with a scowl on his face.
Collette stood in the middle of the room, her chair in her hand, breathing fast as she waited for Bobby to strike at her again.
Bobby grinned. This was just too good. He knew there would be a struggle but he hadn’t anticipated Collette to turn out this good.
” That was smart, president,” he moved around her slowly like a hunting wolf. ” But not too smart. The chair’s heavy. You can’t hold on to it much longer.”
He was right. Her hands were already aching from the heavy chair.
Her breathing worried her more than the chair. It’s been a while she had her asthma attack. If she had one now, Bobby would have the upper hand against her.
No.
She will fight. She have to save her life and Sharon’s.
Bobby moved in on her with his knife and he t----t at her with the speed of a snake striking.
The blade missed her by inches. He stabbed again at her but she was going away from him, her chair held like a shield before her.
Bobby laughed. ” You’re good, Chi-Chi but you’re no match for me. I’m an expert with the knife.”
Moving fast, she circled away from him. He came after her, his head down, his body crouched, the knife pointing at her.
Suddenly he darted to one side and came in with a rush at her.
Collette saw him on time and she backed away, thrusting the four legs of the chair at his face.
He caught hold of one of the legs and tried to cut at her from over the top of it but Collette ducked in time.
Then with all she had in her, she drove her weight against him and slammed him against the wall, pinning him inside the legs of the chair.
He cursed, straining to pull the chair away but Collette leaned her weight against it and held him.
” You fúcking whóre!” He snarled.
Collette shouted at Sharon. ” Don’t just stay there! Run and go get help!”
Sharon jumped up and raced out of the room.
Bobby swore and he began kicking Collette with his legs.
Collette winced in pains but she didn’t let go. He kept kicking and kicking.
Yelling, she jerked the chair out of his hand and before he could move, she slammed it back so two of the legs drove into his chest.
He gasped. The knife dropped from his hand.
Seeing her chance, she kicked the knife across the room away from his reach.
Bobby started to struggle again. He kicked at her knees.
Collette felt sweats running down her neck. Her asthma attack was coming. The chair wouldn’t hold him for long.
Suddenly, Bobby broke free from the chair and hit her across the face with a balled fist.
The blow took Collette away from him. She staggered and crashed to the ground.
Bobby glared at her, looking Savage and murderous.
Breathing heavily, Collette felt blood dripping off her nose.
Her inhaler. She need her inhaler.
She began crawling towards her wardrobe.
Bobby followed her. ” You bítch! Get over here!”
He kicked her in stomach. Collette felt herself rise up and landed on the hard tiled floor. She wrapped her arms around her stomach, coughing as the stabbing pains ripped her entire body.
She was breathing faster now.
Bobby kicked her again. She rolled over and folded up near her bed.
” I’ll kill you!” He yelled, kicking her on her tummy with his leg. He kept kicking and kicking and kicking
Collette was losing consciousness. She couldn’t breath.
Her hands tried to shield him away but he kicked harder.
Then her hands searched fugitivly for anything to grab. Her hand felt the butt end of Bobby’s knife.
Bobby kept kicking and kicking and kicking.
Suddenly he stopped when he heard Collette yelling with a loud voice.
He felt Something being pushed into his stomach. A hot liquid wetted his clothes around his tummy.
Glancing down, he saw his knife, it’s blade buried inside his stomach.
Collette laid on the floor, gazing up at him with dying breath from her broken nose.
Bobby staggered back, took one look at Collette then returned his eyes back to the knife in his tummy.
He fell to the floor, squirming away like a killed snake. He was breathing heavily, glaring at the knife then at Collette.
Collette rested her head against the foot of her bed. She swallowed, gasping for air.
” I’m sorry,” she had tears in her eyes. ” I’m soo sorry. I didn’t mean to….”
Bobby said nothing. His breathing died off and he laid motionless in slow death.
Collette cried.
Suddenly, the room burst opened with the school’s security guards, some teachers and Temi.
Temi was the first to see Collette. The first thing she did was to run to Collette’s wardrobe, shove off the clothes out of the wardrobe. She grabbed Collette’s inhaler and rushed up to her.
Collette was going. She had only a few breath left.
Her dying vision picked Temi as she fixed the inhaler in her mouth and screamed.
” Collette! BREATH!!!!”
