If looks could kill, the secretary ought to have been 6 foot in the ground. Adesewa was fuming on the chair after hearing all the secretary told her. She has told her all the promiscuous activities of her virtuous fiance, even with a woman old enough to be his mother, that’s so incredulous.

Now she knows he’s the devil her dad has acclaimed him to be, she was so disheartened she fell wholly in love with him. She had turned deaf ears to people’s opinion when she started going out with him, especially her dad who had wanted her to date someone who’ll boost his reputation but he had let her choose because he wants her happiness. She took him from nought and brought him to plenty. She had done everything to make him happy and comfortable and yet he found solace in other women and above all a sugar mummy.

Now she had dissappointed everyone, she’ll now be a source of jest to people, now pointy fingers will become very pointy ones.

Now she’ll have to start all over again, where will she start?, but can she start?, she isn’t certain of anything other than her love for Niphemi, she truly do love him.

She was so lost that she didn’t notice a drop of tear riding down her cheeks, she was brought back to reality when she felt a salty taste in her mouth to see a stunned secretary.

“Ma’am, if you don’t mind, I think there is a way” she said.
