Ethan’s POV

I was saddened at Rose loss of memory, her actions were making my mood cold. I should have delt with Brandon when I had the opportunity too.

The visitor’s bell rang and I walked courageously to the door, I knew it couldn’t be Brandon, he’s probably somewhere doubting if he will survive the gun shot of my men.

On opening the door, I saw Jack.

His nose was swollen.

“What’s up, man?” I asked Jack as we both shook hands.

Jack ran to meet Rose where she sat and held her by her arms as he squatted before her.

“I’m so sorry, I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you ,forgive me.” Jack said to Rose but Rose stared at him like she did not understand what he was talking about.

“Rose can not remember a thing of her past, your brother injected him.”I said to Jack and he turned to me in surprise.

He went to sit sadly and let his head fall to his palm.

” I thought I have a brother, I found out his heart is as cold as hell. My mom is not any better, she is in full support of Brandon. I should have known that I did not have a family. How can I even trust those that sold me out to a different family? Only Brandon had enjoyed the care of my parents since I was young. And now that I thought my families are back, our characters won’t make us reunite.” Jack lamented painfully.

“I could have protected her when Brandon was taking her away but I did not want to offend my mom by fighting with her favorite child, maybe I should have.” Jack said further.

“It’s alright, Jack.” I said.

“I hope Rose forgives me after she had recovered.” He said.

“Should we take her to the hospital already? ” He further asked

“No, they would not be able to do anything, the solution is with Brandon, we just need to find Brandon and get it from him.” I answered.

“I should be able to get to him and cleverly steal the solution from him.” Jack said. “It’s the least I can do for Rose.”

“Brandon killed someone he thought was me, that guy is dangerous, be careful around him, please. Don’t let him hurt you. He is currently wounded, though and weak, you should be able to get the solution from him.”I said to Jack.

” Trust me.” Jack said and looked at Rose pathetically before walking away.
