” Karasco am fine ” I replied him . Just then Amara came out from the kitchen and gave him a hug .

“Ok fine since you are not good at that, let me asked your friend Daniel” she said .

” Don’t ask me anything ” angrily I replied her and stormed out of the sitting room to the compound to think about my life when karasco followed me .

” I know what is troubling you , if you had mind your business all this wouldn’t had happened. And queen mother really meant what she said when she said she gave you three days to decide your faith. Tomorrow is the final day for you . I wished I could turn back the hands of time Ben, I wouldn’t had joined ” karasco’s spoke.

” That reminds me Daniel , your grandpa called me today, saying he has been trying your line but it wasn’t connecting. That if I get home I should give him a call he would love to talk to you ”

Just then karasco placed a called at Grandpa and he hurriedly handed the phone to me . I collected it and placed it on my ears when I heard ” hello”

” Afternoon grandpa” I greeted .

” What is so special about the afternoon Daniel? You have gone to switch off your phone so I couldn’t locate you right? Anyways , God has catch you today . “Guy it’s 2pm let’s go , you know today is the final day ” he spoke in parables.

” Where are you guys going to ? Amara asked in amazement.

” I want Daniel to accompany me to one of my company in Abuja ” karasco replied.

” No , let Daniel stay , I want him to fix something for me ” Amara added .

” No he can’t stay it’s urgent and he must have to be there to sign some documents on my behalf”.

Amara became speechless as we drove off, heading to the queen mother’s altar. We got there very late cause the rest of the members were there already . We walked in and stood as the queen mother continues making her incantations.

” I don’t want to join ” I whispered to karasco.

” If you don’t join Daniel, you die ” karasco whispered back .

I was filled with fear as the queen mother continues with her incantations .

” Step forward chidimma” the queen mother instructed, as chidimma stepped forward and stood before the queen mother .

” is been two weeks since you have refused to sacrifice your daughter. What is going on? The queen mother asked wearing a sad face .

” Please queen mother , she is the only daughter I have In this world . I have killed my brother , my sister, my father and my mother , I also killed my husband. Now you want my only daughter please I don’t want her dead, she can’t die, I won’t kill her , find another way queen mother ” chidimma spoke with tears dripping from her eyes .

” Who would you want to sacrifice in your family to start making money ? The queen mother asked .
