Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 2

Location: Zaragoza

Time: 9:45 P.m.

Sir Antonio walked briskly to the table. The others were around as usual. He dropped the suitcase on the table.

“Antonio, it’s been weeks now since he arrived at Alicante. No news about him. Not even an attempt of murder.” Santiago said.

“How sure are we that’s he’s not dead yet as Santos has more guards and is also a strong man?” Pedro asked.

“Any mistake would cost us a lot and loose all others cities we’ve acquired” Juan added.

“Gentlemen, easy please.” Antonio said. “It’s been only a week and two days. Do you know what he has achieved within just this few months. I didn’t plan it with him to just kill him on sight like the others. Santos has a file and documents with him that we need to recover…”

“What files?” Quinn asked.

“We are not just after their life. Santos has documents and files signed already by him kept secretly in a safe….” Antonio answered.

“How did you know this, Antonio” Santiago asked, curious.

Antonio laughed. “We’ve been friends for years. He tells me more than I should know”

They murmured amongst themselves. Antonio smiled that he has been able to calm them.

“So, what ratio are we dealing with?” Savannah asked. She was the one that would take over as the mayor of Alicante after the elimination of the present mayor.

“Cincuenta cincuenta (50:50)” Antonio answered.

“que así sea (So be it)” Savannah said “Antonio” She added.

Location: Alicante {Santos’ mansion}

Time: 11:24 P.m.

Santos light the cigarette in between his fingers and puffed out smoke. He stood at the balcony enjoying the view of the city.

His mind was faraway. He was thinking about Antonio. Antonio had requested for half of the funds he had raised to carry out the project he had promised to when he was elected as the mayor. He had bluntly refused and Antonio had said nothing about it. He knew Antonio really well. His silence means danger. Perhaps, he was the one behind the other murders of the mayors. No, it can’t be. He thought. What’s his gain if he does so? He can’t rule more than just a city. It’s not him. And their death were accident, not just murder.

He puffed out smoke and threw the waste in the waste bin beside him. He looked around and lit another stick. He slowly entered his room. He looked at his wife who was already asleep. He went close to the wall and pressed a tiny hole in between the side of his wardrobe. The wall split open and he brought out the safe.

Location: Hotel

Time: 11:41 P.m.

His computer beeped. Sebastian stood up immediately and moved over to the table. Santos had made a mistake by opening the safe. The pass code he punched was appearing on Sebastian’ computer. He had bugged it.

He stored the code in his head and waited for a few while. The code wasn’t punched in again to close it. Sebastian stood up and quickly wore his black wear whenever he was to carry out a night mission.

He unlocked a car he saw parked at the roadside. He drove faster to Santos mansion. He had guess Santos was trying to take the files elsewhere.

He quietly climbed the fence and like a ghost, he passed behind the guards without anyone seeing even his shadow.

He opened the little girl’s room with his lock. He moved close to her and quietly carried her. He locked her door and moved close to the mayor’s room.

The mayor turned around after hiding the files and documents elsewhere. The cigarettes in his hand dropped immediately he saw Sebastian standing at the doorway with a gun pointed at his daughter’s head.

Sebastian moved close to him and whispered to his ear. Santos slowly pointed to where he kept the documents.

Sebastian directed him with his Head to go bring it. Santos slowly opened the wall and brought out the documents. Sebastian had guessed right. He had changed where he kept the documents and hid them elsewhere.

“Anton…” Santos made to say but Sebastian hit him with his gun. He winced in pain. His wife woke up and before she could shout, Sebastian threw a pin at her. It strucked her nose and she found it difficult to breath nor close her mouth. She gasped for breath. His movement woke the girl up. Sebastian used his hand to cover her mouth. She struggled to free herself but she was no match to him.

Sebastian saw little smoke rising. He looked down and saw it was from the cigarette. He looked at Santos.

Santos knelt still, holding his stomach. He knew it was Antonio but he wasn’t expecting it so fast. He stared at him as he poured a liquid substance into the cigarette. He has no emotions on his face. No smile, no grin, no anger. His face was just plain. He didn’t even utter a word.

Sebastian used his gun to direct him to stand up and get on the bed. He moved close to the mayor’s wife and removed the pin from her nose. He was careful of where he stayed cause of the cameras. She slowly slumped back on the bed. The mayor stared at everything unable to do something. He didn’t know if his wife was dead or alive.

Sebastian used the gun to hit him on the head and he went unconscious. Sebastian dropped the little girl in between them and as she wanted to scream. He knocked her out.

He stood up and wore a nose mask. He took the cigarette and placed it in between the mayor’s finger. Then, he poured another liquid substance on the cigarette. This way, no one would suspect anything. They would say they died of smoke from the cigarette. The liquid substance was to make the cigarette emmit more smoke. Poisonous smoke. He took the files.

He walked out of the room after switching off the light. He moved close to the little girl’s door and left it open. After that, he found his way out without killing any guard.

Sebastian arrived at the hotel. He had parked the car at the spot where he took it unnoticed. He opened the door to his hotel room and saw the lady sitted on the chair.

She was startled when she saw him. She had woken up and wanted to ease herself when she saw his computer still on and had wanted to close it when she saw the mayor’s image and some text. She had ignored it and went to the restroom but didn’t see him after easing herself. So, out of curiosity she had sat down and was going through. Then she realized who he was. An assassin. He was going to kill the mayor. She checked more and saw images of some mayors and VIP in the city. She was still checking when she heard the door squeaked open.

Sebastian stared at her. He moved close to her. She trembled seeing him. Out of fright, she took a table knife and pointed towards him. She looked at him as he moved towards her. He wasn’t smiling nor scared nor angry.

“Don’t you have emotions devil!? ¡Mantente alejado de mí! (Stay away from me!)” She screamed standing up.

Sebastian moved towards her not stopping in his track. He stared at the computer screen.

He looked up at her and before she could blink twice, he shot her in the head.
