The night was still young when a heard a knock on my door.

Even though I was expecting someone,I was somehow terrified by the heavy knock on the door.

I jumped out from the couch where I was sleeping.

Was it Lucy,the woman I was expecting or someone else.

Who is there,I inquired.
Is me Lucy,please open the door”,she said.I was now stable.

For when I heard the knock on the door,a lot of questions came running through my head.

I first thought that Pebbles was up for another shocking move,sending gangsters to send me to my grave but I was saved by the mere voice of Lucy,the Samaritan woman who first healed my broken hearted soul.

I would rather you kill me than leave.

I love you so much,Lucy.

You came to save me when I was lost,when I did not know what else to do,you gave me hope.

You came as an Angel to me….

I heard someone bunging on the door after I had spoken such words from my heart which made my heart bonce.
“Open this d–n door Biggie,I know you’re in there,came a feminine voice exclaiming….

I opened the door gently and she gracefully walked pass me.

She sat on the couch and I asked humbly if I could offer her something to drink.
She preferred drinking water rather than any mineral which I brought from the refrigerator.

After some sips,I asked her what brought her to my abode that Godforsaken night.

She called me earlier in the day informing me she wanted to have words with me and she proposed speaking to me in my room,that is why she came.
I came to have words with you,as I called you earlier on to inform you,Lucy voiced out.

I responded.
“I know I haven’t been a good friend to Pebbles because am much in love with you now.

I never dreamt of dating you,Biggie but here am I now in your love web.

She must have now seen me to be her worst friend and the thought of us being together worries me,that is why am here this very night to end this relationship right now.

I don’t won’t her to talk ill of me to most of my peers who are looking at every opportunity to send someone to her grave by their deadly words.

So am pleading with you to let go off me,pleeeaaassseee Biggie,please hear my plea.
She stood up facing the wall with her sobbing.

I stood up,held her shoulders and turned her gently to face me.

She was crying which touched me very much.

I hugged Lucy tightly and whisppered into her ear not to break my heart for the second time.

I held her hand and made her to sit on the couch to hear me out.

” I did everything for your friend Pebbles just to win her love and I swear to bring Heaven down for you if you should give your positive consent.

I can’t afford to let you go and I do not want to loose you,which is why am asking you to stay.I know am not perfect,but am very much ready to stop all my bad ways because of you.

I promise never to let you down.

I would stand by you in all endeavours,through thick and thin situations.
