~~Next Day~~

Edward and Edwin are dressed up co-operately with dark shades on their eyes. Edward has a hat on his head and Edwin a face cap,they do this to disguise. They look for a cab or bus but they found none, after 15 minutes of searching they find a lone Bike man coming with a Suzuki bike. They quickly flagged him down.

Edward: Hey come! (The bike man drives to their direction and stops close to them).

Bike man: Where una dey go?

Edward: You wanna know (Edward lifts the man out of the bike and drops him on the tarred road, unfortunately no one is around to help the Bike man,as Edward and Edwin mount on the bike and ride into thin air).

Edwin: Why did you treat that poor guy like that, what if someone saw us?

Edward: Chill no one saw us (They follow all the available short-cuts, avoiding to pass through the various police check points and luckily for them in the next 1 hour they arrived Mushin,they walked to their apartment a small but cosy bungalow without the notice of their neighbours and started picking their clothes,shoes and other properties they would take along with them.

Ebuka went to see Emilia in her cell,they talked for some time and she really enjoyed his company due to his funny nature which made her forget about her predicaments staying in the ill d--n cell. He told her he was going to visit her parents and she welcomed the idea. Ebuka drove to the Ekun’s house and he was entertained by Mrs. Ekun and Emmanuella he was told Mr. Ekun was taking his bath when he asked after him.

Ebuka: Ma it’s God oh,it was God that used those two doctors to save me.

Mrs. Ekun : Yes oh,it’s really God. So you were there since receiving medications.

Ebuka: Yes ma,it was a risky one on the Doctors part.

Mrs. Ekun: Anyway,we thank God that you and your wife are alive , so what do you care for?

Ebuka: Don’t bother your self ma?

Emmanuella: My inlaw,you are growing more chubby oh (she teased Ebuka and they all laughed).

Ebuka: It’s too much of food nah. (Just then Mr. Ekun entered the living room). Good day sir (He attempts to prostrate but Mr. Ekun stops him).

Mr. Ekun: Good day! You’re welcome. I hope you know what my daughter is going through because of you.

Ebuka: (Nervous) I know sir, it’s a pity , i’m just coming back from seing her and I promise to make it up anyhow possible.

Mr. Ekun: You’re such a nice young man but your mother was the person that took the case to court and insisted my daughter should die.

Ebuka: I’m sorry sir for the inconveniences and all I have caused your family

Mr. Ekun: I’m sorry to say this but my daughter would no longer be your wife ,you can be coming here to see her anytime you like but I don’t want your mum to hurt her, I even heard of your Mum’s accident but I don’t think that can stop her from maltreating my daughter.

Mrs. Ekun: Ha! Honey ,they’re not going to live in the same house nah, Ebuka has his house.

Ebuka: Yes sir, that’s true ,we are not going to stay in my father’s house. Please sir!

Mr. Ekun: My decision is final, Eventhough. That doesn’t stop Ebere from visiting anytime she wants to, 1 hour is not too small for her to maltreat my daughter.

Emmanuella: Hmm!

Edward and Edwin finish packing their loads in two Emcholac bags and they are ready to go.

Edwin: Wait, I have another plan. I’m thinking of something different.

Edward: What again?

Edwin: You know the only way we can go to Cameroon from here due to our financial capability is by water and it would take more than one week ,the police can contact the Navy and they can easily Nab us before we get there so I suggest we should go to a remote place like Ijebu-Ode in Ogun state where no one knows about us.

Edward: I know you are the brain but not this time, you suggested Cameroon and I agreed, now you want us to go to an unknown land.

Edwin: That is the best place.

Edward: No oh,it’s because you’re not the real culprit that’s why you are behaving like this. (Removes his hat).

Edwin: I can’t even defend myself, because I was the last person to leave there and they can even take me for the murderer, the person that sent you to kill the guy might even implicate me. It’s wisdom i’m using bro.

Edward: You’re foolish today (He holds his brother by the neck attempting to strangle him and just as they are in that position, uniformed men of the Nigerian police force brings them back to the present as their eye glow brightly).

Police 1 : I am sergeant Elechi, from the state police branch, Lekki. (Flashes his I.D card) You are under arrest for the attempted murder of Mr. Ebuka Eze. (They were still recognized despite their disguise ). You can see you guys are out-numbered, we are 7 here and reinforcement are coming from V.I , Mushin, Surulere and Ikeja. So your hands on your head the both of you. There was a tracking device on that Bike you stole. (Edward obeys seeing there is nothing he could do to escape, Edwin on the other hand kneels down like he is begging).

Edwin: Sir please don’t hurt me, i’m asthmatic. Take it easy with me (still on his knees) Please sir (Just as Sergeant Elechi is about to handcuff him, Edwin gives him a stomp-kick which takes Sergeant Elechi flying, Edwin quickly grabs Sergeant Elechi’s rifles and fires at 2 Policemen ,he hastily scaled the window out and shot the policeman at the Back-yard he rushed to the side of the house where the Bike was , rode out of the vicinity and abandoned the Bike, he entered a bus heading for Ogun state, unfortunately Edward was still being held captive by the policemen.
