Barr. Ebere is unconscious and doctors are trying to revive her and they eventually suceed. Mr. Eze and Eric rushes into the hospital as they heard that Barr. Ebere had a fatal accident.

Mr. Eze: (Enters the ward where Ebere is) Oh thank God, she’s awake, Doctor goodmorning please is she gonna be okay.

Dr. Emma: Good morning sir, we just conducted an x-ray analysis on her, she sustained a complicated fracture, her femur was completely grinded. I’m sorry,since it was on her two legs it happened,i don’t think she would ever be able to walk again.

Eric: Hey! Doctor please do something.

Dr. Emma: The only thing i can do is to recommend you give us your permission to amputate the two legs making her a double amputee’. Not only that due to the shock she got from the accident, her auditory canal has failed making her deaf,though in rare cases the failure of the auditory canal is temporary, maybe you should just try to pray real hard.

Mr. Eze: Ha! Ebere! Nemesis has caught up with you,see what you’ve caused yourself. (weeps).

Eric: (Rudely) Daddy would you stop blaming mummy and think of something?

Dr. Emma: Hey! Young man, how would you talk to your dad like that?

Eric: Hey! Hey! Doc mind your business.

Mr. Eze: Please Doctor don’t be offended.

Erica is sitting down in her 2- bedroom flat in Ikeja,she is neither happy or sad and the expression on her face is undescribable. She picks up her Samsung phone dials her step-sister’s number and her step-sister picks almost immediately.

Erica: Hello sister Egbe, Good afternoon!

Egbe: Good afternoon, Lil sis. How are you doing?

Erica: I’m okay oh,there is fire on the mountain oh.

Egbe: Fire… How?

Erica: Sha it’s not my business, do you remember Emilia?

Egbe: Hmm! Emilia, is she not that lady, you said snatched your fiance’ ?

Erica: Good retentive memory, yes she is the one.

Egbe: So what happened?

Erica: She is being accused as the murderer of Ebuka and she would be executed next week. The worst thing is that she is innocent.

Egbe: Hmm, didn’t they make use of her finger-print?

Erica: They did but i don’t know how it potrayed she was the one.

Egbe: That is so surprising.

Erica: Yeah,so how is Sierra-Leone?

Egbe: Sierra-Leone is cool oh,i even got a new job recently in Fourah Bay college.

Erica: Nice to hear,congrats, i’m coming to join you soon.

Egbe: I don’t know why you left the last time you came.

Erica: That was because, i was not conversant and used to the environment.

Egbe: What about Edwin, have you heard from him lately?

Erica: Nope but i would call him immediately i’m through with this call.

Egbe: Around what time would you come to Free-town so that i would know when to expect you.

Erica: I really can’t say but 3-4 weeks from now.

Egbe: Okay oh, Bye. (Erica hangs up).
