Magistrate: May Mrs. Ezinne come to the witness box.

Mrs.Ezinne: Thank you, i am a close friend & co-worker of Emilia. So she hardly keeps things from me. These are some pictures i took with Emilia (shows them some photos in her Tablet). We are like sisters,so i know all her secrets & she knows mine. Mrs. Emilia told me that her late husband Ebuka’s mother was an arch-enemy to her father and had sworn to exterminate him,so she wanted to kill Ebuka to pay back what Barr. Ebere had done to her father, i told her to forgive Barr.Ebere and leave her son alone but she didn’t heed,she even planned that he would be killed in her honeymoon. She’s such an evil person.

Emilia: (In tears) Ezinne how much did they pay you to do this to me,just tell me Ezinne,why are you lying?

Barr.Ebere: Do you see what i was talking about, Mrs. Ezinne did you know me before, have i met you before?

Mrs. Ezinne: No ma, i just came to say the truth though she’s my friend, Justice must prevail!

Barr.Efosa: No! No! I know Emilia since. She can’t hurt a fly,Barr.Ebere bribed the so-called Mrs.Ezinne,i’m pretty sure about that. Moreover Ebuka was shot in his abdominal region,someone by his side can’t do that,the person must be in his front to shoot him in his abdomen.

Ebere is a queen of Bribery, she even tried to bribe me to abandon the case but i refused.

All: Hey!!! (shouts).

Barr.Ebere: Objection my lord.

Magistrate: Objection sustained.

Barr.Ebere: Barr.Efosa that is a medicine after death,it is clear that Emilia killed Ebuka,you are just trying to cast funny blames on me. Take a look at the finger-print analysis (The clerk gives it to the magistrate). You can see Emilia is the person responsible for Ebuka’s murder.

Magistrate: It’s okay,with this Mrs. Emilia Eze having murdered her husband and with clear investigations is sentenced to death by firing squad on the 18th of october according to the Murder & Criminology law of the Nigerian constitution and this is my final verdict. (Hits his mallet).

Clerk: Court rise! (weeping and protests occurs in the court room as Emilia falls down on the ground rolling & crying).

Barr. Efosa: Is your brain that is rising not this court, Magistrate stay there,how can a man of influence like you be corrupt. You were bribed by Barr. Ebere. Stay there i’m coming for you (The magistrate tries to run but his glasses fall to the ground and Barr.Efosa chases him but is intercepted by the police, albeit Barr.Efosa pushes the police men away and attempts to chase the magistrate again). Madman what have you done,killing an innocent person for your selfish interest. (Mr. Ekun with tears in his eyes drags his friend outside).
