DESPERATE PLIGHT (Travails Of a hero ) - Season 1 - Episode 27

GENERAL HOSPITAL
(INSIDE THE WARD)
:
Before Richard could get to the guy, Tega had pushed him away and took over.

“Let her be!” Tega shouted and held the guy by the colar while Richard kicked him from behind causing the gun to fall from his hand.

“How dare you…” the first guy shouted and held Jane by the throat, then brought out a small dagger from his back pocket. “Stop this or I kill her not minding your status,” he said to Richard and place the dagger on Jane’s throat.

“Ri…cha…rd!” Jane stamnered in fear as she regreted ever leaving her house.
Richard left the other guy for Tega to handle and advanced towards the one that held his wife, “Release her now!” he ordered but the guy held Jane more tight making her to cough. Richard became furious as he watched Jane’s eyes popped out of the socket in fear. He drew closer to the guy and kicked him hard on the g---n thus making him release Jane who continued coughing.
The third guy who stood confused on who to help quickly rush to Tega to hit him as he and the guy kept exchanging punches but Tega was faster as he threw a sidewards kick at him which landed him on the floor. As Tega fought, he kept wondering why Lucy was still asleep.
Richard glared at the guy in annoyance, then stretched out and carried him up high in the air. Thanks to the spacious hospital ward coz he released the guy in the air and he came crashing down with a loud thud. But as Richard bent to pick him up again, the other guy came from behind and pushed Richard so hard that he reeled forward and collided with his wife, then fell down.

Tega kept struggling with the other guy but unfortunately was overpowered as the guy pushed him down, then brought out a dagger from his pocket and stabbed Tega deep on the right upper chest. After stabbing Tega, he gestured at the other guys and the left the ward immediately…

OUTSIDE THE WARD
:
The doctor ran up to the three guys as they were about entering their car. “Did you succeed coz atleast I gave her some sleepy pills?” he asked but they ignored him and entered the car, then speedily drove out…

MR DAVIDSON’S HOUSE
:
Mr Davidson sat in his garden as usual reading newspaper and sipping from his glass of wine. Just then his phone rang and he picked the call almost immediately. “Is she dead?” he asked with full confidence.

“No sir!” came the reply. Then the guy went on to explain everything to him.

“S--t!” Mr Davidson cursed and hit the table the wine was so hard that the glass shook and fell, thus breaking into pieces as the contents spilled all over. “I’m sending more boys now. That Richard must die and I don’t bloody care about his status. I will make sure he’s dead,” he shouted and threw the phone down.

Thelma came rushing to the garden, “Dad! Are you alright? I overheard you shouting,” she asked.

“Richard must die with Lucy and Tega too,” the father shouted and stood up.

“Which Richard dad?” Thelma asked just to be sure.

“The war hero,” the father replied.

“Impossible father,” She shouted.

“Nothing is impossible daughter,” the father said and left the garden while Thelma ran after him shouting “IMPOSSIBLE! IMPOSSIBLE!! IMPOSSIBLE!!!
