The wedding did not only end dramatically but also pathetically. Mr and Mrs Williams left to the hospital after Mr Josh disappeared, probably to the police station.


However, at the office of Mr Randy, he sat on his rotating chair making simple harmonic motion with a phone on his ear. He wore a black suit with a white tie as he talked to his wife on phone.


“Rita, how are you over there?”

“Please, I’m coming back tomorrow” Rita said.

“Okay, but make sure you conclude every business transaction before coming back”

“I have done that already”

“Okay..”

“How’s my daughter, Agatha doing? She isn’t picking up my calls. What’s going on?”


“She’s fine, maybe she isn’t close to her phone”

“Alright, see you tomorrow”


“Safe journey” Mr Randy ended the call still making SHM with the chair. Then he began to think of how Rita will feel to know that Mary had found him and most especially, when she will see her son, Mr Randy’s son, Nath living with them. “I hope she’ll understand” Mr Randy concluded in thought.

Back to the hospital, Nath and Brano were already being taken care of by doctors and nurses. While Agatha, Miracle, Joyce and Cynthia waited patiently at the reception as the doctors remove the bullets and finally stitche them up wounds. Miracle and Joyce sat opposite Cynthia and Agatha with all their hands folded. Tears could still be seen in Joyce’s eyes because she was emotional than others. She looked up to see Cynthia staring at her but inverted her eyes.


“Is okay nah, he will be fine” Miracle consoled her.
