Nath was in the state of confusion not knowing more of such conditions were still coming. The day was already getting dark at the field. People laughed and kissed at different angles while Nath glanced at Joyce’s call again but ignored it. Even Cynthia didn’t care about the caller as she waited patiently to hear Nath’s reply. After the ringing of the phone, Nath stared at her again.



“Did you just say you are pregnant?” he asked then Cynthia shook her head again positively. Nath smiled.


“Is not funny. I’m being serious here” Cynthia said.

Nath held her two hands making Cynthia’s heart beat faster, so she looked into his eyes and held his hand tightly too.

“I’m not yet fully happy” Nath began. “I will fully be happy when my dreams come to pass”

“What dream?” Cynthia’s voice was low but romantic.

“You are my dream. The dream of making you my wife, the dream of waking up each morning then see you by my side, the dream of embracing you each night before going to bed, the dream of seeing my children coming forth from you” Nath brought out the ring to Cynthia’s amazement and said, “Please, marry me, my love, and make my dreams come to pass”

It was the biggest shock Cynthia had ever experienced. She became totally speechless looking at Nath. Then glanced at the ring. “Yes, i will marry you, my love” she smiled.

Nath smiled too then gently placed the ring in her finger. “I love you so much”
