Cynthia sighed as she walks away head down with tears streaming down her face.

Tonie approached him and they spoke till the time came for them to move out.

Just before they started preparations to go, Ben walked over to were Chido and Tonie were still talking and said “bro, i heard about Grace from the twins. Daniel just returned. Pls no heroics today. I know u are angry and sad. I also know what those coctail of emotions can do to a man. Ur life is important to us”.


Tonie added “if u want i could send Cynthia away” but Chido replied “that wont he necessary tonie, thanx Ben”.

They then all slowly wore their effects and headed toward their primary target zone.

The primary target zone was the area around madam Bunmi’s house. Tonie had named it so cos they needed ways to identify their aim.
Chido/Ben/Bonface were later to break away and head for their secondary target zone which was the area Blackmamba was supposed to be dug in.

In order to prevent being hit by cross friendly fire. They were to somehow notify blackmamba of their presence.

They slowly drove in the dark without lights to their target area without incident.

As they drove they encountered several makeshift unmanned road blocks on the road.
Those road blocks made Chido uncomfortable and gave goose pimples. One of their crewmen asked “what all these roadblocks, I thought the IGP banned all roadblocks in the country”. No one replied.

They arrived madam Bunmi’s house without incident. Chido asked Tonie for his fone since he didnt collect his back when he gave it up at the airport. Talking the fone, he sent an urgent sms to blackmamba “at Madam Bunmi’s unmolested. Road deserted. Give location so we come get u”.

Blackmamba replied immediately “same mistake I did. Madam Bunmi’s is the trap.

Get outa there now cos it’ll get hot. Ibinabo has externals. Use road on right then head north to my location”.
