But Chido knew nothing was that simple. He knew he was that naive to believe Lawrence. “So what was the catch here”, he asks himself.

As he was still talking to Lawrence they sent for them. So Lawrence lead him to another sitting room in the house, this time large and well furnished.

There he met Ben already sitting as also the guys that came with them in the jeep. They were other people he didnt know too there.

They were then introduced to the guy that owned the joint and as it was he was related to Lawrence and had taken Lawrence under his wings when Lawrence lost his parents.

The guy didn’t introduce himself directly but asked them to call him Dandy. He then told them who would be going where. Since this was Chido’s first time he was to drive with Ben and Lawrence in an entourage of 10 cars to Benin and warri.

There in warri they had a job to conclude and then they were to drive to ph and drop the package.

Dandy told em travel documents were ready and that they could head out immediately after 10 pm since traffic was light then.

After the meeting was done Dandy walked over to were Chido sat with Ben and told him “I heard u are Anaconda’s replacement? The job alone is too lucrative, the products too expensive that I can’t take risks. I already heard u drive well but will prefer my own person tests ur hand b4 I hand u the keys of any of my beauties”.

He continued “this job will either make u one of us or put u 6 fts elswhere”.

He dismissed them. They went back downstairs ate and drank and as soon as it was 10 o’clock they all filled into the nearby warehouse were the cars were waiting.
