Ben still watched him smiling that his malovalent smile. He knew Ben meant every word, he thought of Grace as a sad smile played on his face. Ben on seeing the smile on Chido’s face smiled back and said “its something I won’t want to have to do cos I’ve gotten to like u but will still have to do if I have to, that is if u mess up”.

Chido replied “then u just have to make sure I don’t 4k up. Then again if u had to, would u shot me?”

Ben looked at chido again but didnt answer the question, rather he continued uninterrupted as if Chido hadn’t spoken “once u become a made strongman no one can play with ur life anyhow but 4 now u are nothing so remember that and keep to my side at all times”.

Chido replied “ok, let’s do this”.

They all got into the car and continued on their journey. Chido’s mind was miles away as his thinking kept revolving around what Ben let out.

He will loose his life if he didn’t somehow prove himself on this one.

He thought about Grace and if she would miss him. He thought about suz ie and knew she would miss him. He knew 4 certain if anyone would miss him his parents would. He made a mental note to call them cos he hadnt done so in a long time.

His thinking got him so carried away that he didn’t know when he drifted out to sleep.
