''Money is the root of all evil'' 1Timothy 6:10.
I grew up in the small town in Iju hills, ishaga Lagos. And I can still recall quiet vividly as a small kid around the age of 5 to 9, my mum would sit me down during leisure hours at home and begin to tell me stories about ''Man's'' greed to accumulate more wealth and the end result that follows.

Years went by, moving very fast like wild fire and here I'm, in school, about 23yrs old, standing and witnessing one of the worst experiences that can ever happen to anyone.

My friends were into all form of cyber crimes popularly know as ''yahoo yahoo'', earning huge amounts of money, weekly or monthly and sometimes yearly. I'd like to admit, I've always wanted to venture into the game, Money was indeed involved, it was an avenue to generate more money, flex yourself, your gf and your entire family and still having enough change to build houses and buy cars, but I simply had no time, my mind was mostly channeled into school activities. I wasn't lazy, but I simply had no time, to just sit down, day and night with my laptop chatting with clients from outside the shores of my country.

On a very wonderful day, I got a call from Smart to come over to an hotel very close to campus.
He told me the rest of my friends were very much around with him enjoying themselves. I took my bathe, got dressed and took a bike to the hotel where they were. On getting there, I saw my goonz sitting down on a round table, enjoying themselves. The table was filled with varieties of drinks. And lots and lots and lots of suya.

Me: ooboy! See flexing o. Una dey popori for here o.

Smart: I don dey call your number, how things
na, .. Sit down.

Mayson: Temy, na celebrating things o.
Everywhere soft.

Me: wetin dey sup. Abeg feed me.

Smart: I collect 450,000 naira, this morning. That pastor Adeboye work dey pay die.*

Me: chai! Pastor work?, how manage?

Smart: leave that one. Abeg, drink up.

Thompson: oboy! I don high.

I sat on the roundtable with them, dining. It was indeed a very interesting moment. Smart was now a big boy, he infact got the latest iphone 5x that was invoke at that period.

After about a month, we organised an hostel week party, off campus. The party was usually done at night, starting from about 5pm till dawn. This events occurs mostly at the end of a semester.

My friends all trooped into my hostel around 8:00pm, to have fun and to dance away their sorrows. When I saw my friends , I entertained them into my room and I give them each a cold bottle of beer, for a start. The dj was busy as always playing loud music outside while the MC dropped crazy funny jokes just to amuse the crowd.

While my friends were busy drinking and having fun in my small room, I went into my kitchen to cook something for them to eat. All of a sudden I heard a loud roar from my sitting room... ''LET ME GO!!! LET ME GO!!!, LEAVE ME ALONE O''

I hurriedly ran to the sitting room to see what was happening only to see Smart, trying to fight Mayson, Thompson and Marvis.

Me: Smart, wetin happen na?

Thompson: he no go answer you. Smart don mad.
