As I was standing in the shower letting the scalding hot water drench my body, I couldn’t help but think about Tola and the vows I made to her few weeks back. To her, everything seemed so fast but to me, it just happened the way it was meant to happen.
Sometimes, When you love someone, you forget every other thing. You only focus on the future with the person, every other thing such as the time you met and how long you have been with the person becomes ‘by the way’. That is truly when love conquers all.

The last couple of days have been fun with Tola. Since we were officially dating already, we hung out more often at different places.
Cinemas, bar beach, coffee cafés and fancy exquisite restaurants for dinners. I grabbed a towel that was hanging right outside of the bathtub and engulfed my body, shivering once the coldness of my bedroom hit me. It was then I realized that the cold air I felt was due to the windows being open. All of the hairs on my body stood on end as I moved closer to the window panes to shut them.
