“Turn left” She instructed and kept silent. I obeyed her and turned left. I was eager to know where the whole thing was leading to. “Turn right” came her voice again.

I looked at her eyes and lingered there more than usual to have a glimpse of what she was up to. However, her face gave no clue to what was in her mind.

I turned my Corolla red car to the right and continued driving. Corolla had been a dream toy for me, but now, having a Rolls Royce was on my mind, I was only taking my time. “Stop here” she ordered again and motioned to me to unlock the car.

Getting down, she walked across the road while I followed suit, wondering where she was going. We walked for a while before stopping in front of a water fall.

The moon stopped and shone brightly in its full glory, belighting on the water fall and the small stones scattered around. “I used to come here when I was younger and I needed to clear my head. This place used to be where I would think of my father, where I would cry because I longed to see him and where I would sit and watch the moon fade away before going home” she began, her words resonating around the windy atmosphere and settling into an eerie silence.

“When I was Sixteen, I dreamt of a man that would love me, that would care for me and would never leave me like my father left my mom. I dreamt of something special with someone worth it. I dreamt of just one shoulder I would lean on and cry on. You, Alexander surpassed my dreams. I now know with no doubt that it is you I want to be with, whether the sky brings sun or rain, it is you I want to stay with, it is you I want to sleep with and wake up to see. I love you Alex, I love you with every vein in my body,with everything I have now and everything that is to come” She said, bursting into tears as her hands found their ways around my neck.

Something jacked inside me, butterflies?
“So is this a yes?” I asked, looking down to behold my face, but it was resting on my chest. “Yes” She said.

I felt goosebumps on my skin as her voice sank into my heart. I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her tightly.
