Didn’t she know it brought my eyes to what I had been avoiding ever since she got here? It naturally drew my eyes to my breasts yet again.

“Kind of but its nothing I can’t handle though she’s harder than the Sunday crossword puzzle in Punch Newspaper” She chuckled and laughed.

I joined in the laughter too.

“So, where how was it at the end too?” She asked. Wow, that was the first time she would ask me about how work was. My cheeks tinted with the lightest pink hue. Let it not be heard that a man was blushing. So I can’t put it that I blushed that moment.

“Well, it’s been tasking. Overseeing the smooth running and administration of the branch is not something so easy, and I have superiors I report to too” I explained.

“Well, that aside. Let’s go grab some cups of hot coffee at Spices” I announced as I ignited the engine, bringing it to life.

“Wow.You know Spices too?” She asked,turning to me with a surprise expression.

“That coffee shop is the bomb! They serve the best coffee cups in the whole of Lagos” She spoke with glee.

I beamed as I reversed and navigated the wheels out of the bank.

“Really? Wait till you get to Ryan café In Lekki.
They don’t only have nice coffees, they serve varieties of sweet pastries” I puckered my lips girlishly. “Oh stop please!” She exclaimed, grinning goofily.

“Would you like to go to Ryan Café another day to have a taste of what they really call coffee?” I asked, she nodded and smiled.

“Actually, I often go to Spices to down some cups of coffee after work most nights since it’s not too far from the bank. One of those nights I saw you lying on the road like a lifeless chicken after I had finished having a coffee” A quirky smile played on my lips. I turned to look at her, she had a frown on her face and her lips were up and fused together. “C’mon, you are free to pour out your rage lady” I teased.
