jack’s pov continues

we all realised that we were almost busted, we took covers behind a giant rock and the squades of enemy soldiers alongside there tanks passed without realising that we were there. Giving them enough time to clear pass i saw evelyn burying IED bomb on the track , i was stunned and wondered were she got that improvised device from. Any way this is war and during war, both sides try all odds to win the war even if it include murdering. Once she was done with her assignment, we all mustered back into our old attack formation and started advancing. Me and rose, bill and evelyn, we walked in twos. On getting to the forest, we were fire upon once again, but thanks to our readiness, we fired back and after almost half an hour of blood bath we finally cleared our way. Advancing towards our target fighting our way through every barrier, tearing down barb wires and bombing down trees and walls. We finally got to the target.

Just then we heard a loud bomb explosion which sends every one to different direction.

Captain jackson’s pov

both i and clara stood still and lowered our weapons as instructed. Yea we had a plan B and lets just hope it work out.

“now move out of the building to the basement”
the voice commanded and with great relieve and i walk out with clara following behind.

I stole a glimps at my watch time almost up.

I signal to clara who nodded and i turn towards the owner of the voice and yelled
“see you all in hell”
immediately i dived clara down and the bomb which we’ve set earlier explode scrapping every where . I held unto clara very tight and the force of the explosion threw us almost 30 feet from its place of occurance. We both passed out.

BACK TO THE BARRACKS

Everyone was standing attention and it looks like a superior officer was delivering a speech.

Just then the general climb down the office stairs , looks out to see the soldiers then headed towards the platform and grab a microphone started delivering his speech,
“soldiers of our great nation, i greet and salute you all for your dedication to duty and for your commitment to the service of our father’s land. We all knows that our gallant and able captain the leader of 101 marine strike force operation delta delta has been missing for almost a month now and sadly colonel williams was murdered via car bomb with an improvised device. Alongside the wife of our great captain. Please gentlemen , ladies, lets join our hands together to carry out justice for the and to make sure that we win this war.”

he concluded his speech and thunderous applause followed suit. He left the platform went back to his convoy with an evil smile dancing along his lips.
“its time to show him who i’m really am”
