Must Read: My Missing Rib (The Stranger) - Season 1 - Episode 6

Steve glanced up in the sky again to be sure an helicopter just came there without taking him along. He also looked down on the blood stain on the floor where the boy was shot dead. He didn't just get the whole drama, so he began to look at everybody one by one as all stood near their tents. Some held their sisters closely while some shed tears. He looked at sir Zeno just to see his twin daughters, Stella and Thelma holding him tightly in fear. "What's going on? Where am i?" he thought and began to walk back to Buboy. All stared at him, especially sir Zeno who gradually patted his daughters and said, "Go back to your tent" Immediately the girls left, he followed Steve.

Steve saw Buboy sitting quietly inside the tent then he also took a seat. "Someone was shot dead right in front of everybody but no one said anything or reacted" he began.

"It's no more a big deal to us" Buboy replied.
"What do you mean?"

"It happens frequently"

Steve became surprise. "You mean people are killed here on daily bases without a cause!"

"Not daily but occasionally"

"Why?" Steve asked but Buboy remained quiet. "How did you get here?" he was still inquisitive. Just then, sir Zeno entered without taking permission. He stared at Steve for a while and sat down quietly beside Buboy. He had an average height looking hunger than Buboy.

"One night, i was asleep with my family in South Africa" sir Zeno began. "My wife and i heard our daughters screaming in their room. Before we stood up, two gunmen broke into our room and hit us hardly to unconsciousness. Few minutes later, i regained consciousness in a chopper with my eyes blindfolded and my hands tied. I could hear a lady's voice shouting at someone on the phone about some sort of failure on an experiment. After a long flight, we landed here and found other people too"

Steve looked confused after Zeno narrated his story. He glanced at Buboy.

"That's how i found myself here too" Buboy said breaking the silence.

"So are we in some sort of captivity or what?"
Steve asked curiously but none said anything. "Answer me!"

"Yes, a very deadly one for that matter" Buboy replied.

"But for what?"

"For some sort of experimentation, i guess" Zeno replied as an after thought. So Steve stood up with his eyes opened widely in amazement. He totally became frustrated scratching his head and moving to and fro. He suddenly stopped and said, "Then, why can't we escape?! Yes, let's escape!" he shouted.

"We tried to do that one day but i lost my wife in the process" sir Zeno said remembering how it happened.

# FLASH_BACK

Everybody in the small village was ready to escape to a place they had no idea. All carried their clothes inside another cloth and tied it. Just as they began their journey, the helicopter arrived and men with gun began to Jump down from it. Seeing that, they all started running into the bush. There were several gunshots at them from the men which killed zeno's wife right beside him.

"Mummy!" Thelma and Stella shouted and ran back to them. "Mummy! Mummy!" they were still shouting. When Zeno finally saw his wife dead he shouted in a loud voice, "Noo!"

"All go back 2 your tents now or you die!" a voice of one of the gunmen sounded from a mega-phone..

CONTINUITY

"We all went back to out tents" Zeno continued with tears in his eyes. "They warned us never to even plan to escape bcoz they will defiantly knw and kill us all" he added.

Steve's hands were totally folded looking speechless. He suddenly sat down again with his hands on his head and bent it downward. Few seconds later, Zeno and Buboy saw his tears dropping on the floor.

As the day was gradually getting dark, Mr Stanley angrily drove inside the house, bagged in forcefully. The sound of his car and door brought the attention of his wife and Adam. Both rushed into the sittingroom where he was removing his suit.

"My husband, what news have you brought?" the wife approached curiously.

"My son is missing!" Mr Stanley exclaimed.

"Oh my God! It's a lie" the wife sat on the floor and began to cry.

"They have searched the sea but couldn't see my son either dead or alive!" Mr Stanley added bitterly.

"Dieu Merci!!" Adam exclaimed in French which means 'My goodness!'. He placed his two hands on his waist looking at the ceiling. "Where could he be? Where is young master?" he murmured thinking critically. Just then, the maid came out and began to crying even more than her madam, Mrs Stanley. She fell on the floor crying serious then Adam looked her. "Steve is only missing not dead!" he shouted thinking it would reduce the cry but the maid increased her voice.

Back to the unknown land, darkness creeped in. One could see burning fire in front of every tent. Stella and Thelma sat round their fire eating dinner.

Steve came out just to see Buboy making his own fire. "Wait, let me get from others" he said moving towards Stella nd her sister's tent as Buboy watched him silently.
