Must Read: Laraba (Werewolves,Vampires, Witches)

Jamal checked his wristwatch, it was getting late already. Tomorrow was a
day he set aside to mourn Tamara in the cave. Tomorrow marked anotheryear he lost the epic love of his life, and he had decided to staunch all
operations tomorrow for Tamara. Ever since he lost her, he hadn’t set out a
single day to mourn her due to his absent in the town, and now that he was
back in the town, he had decided to mourn her every year in the cave.

He coughed slightly to catch the attention of Lazarus, but the old man
seemed very perturbed with either saving his friend or fulfilling an expired
promise he made long time ago. Jamal recalled how Rominick had nagged
about someone failing to fulfil the promise he made to him also and how
he was definitely going to take his revenge. All these made Jamal to
wonder why people overate ‘promises’, to him, promises could be broken
as easy and swift as they were made. Hence the reason he quickly broke
the one he made to him when he found out that it wouldn’t suit him
anymore.

“I’m gone.” He mumbled albeit loudly announcing his departure.

The old man first turned to him and cast a look on like he was some ghost of John
the Baptist, then he walked up to him.

“So soon? I thought you came here to see someone?” He asked with a
prying look.

Jamal pulled out a scowl on his face. [/B] “So soon?”[/B] he asked. “I have been
here for the past twelve hours.” He said, taking another glance at his
wristwatch.

“Oh! That’s true.” He nodded, rubbing his beard. “So who did you come to
meet here if I may ask?” Lazarus asked cautiously.

Jamal wanted tell it was his pudden-head foster father Meshach, that asked
him to come here to meet his biology father but he just found out that he
was just been tricked as usual by him. But he controlled his mouth.

“I came hoping to meet someone whom I thought would change my life
forever, but I guess he just turned out to be a looser as he has always been.”

He rasped out exhaustibly, walking out of the cabin but Lazarus’ voice
halted his movement.

“Who is that person? I mean the name.” Lazarus asked, lashing a Jamal a
heavy stare as he tried to decrypt Jamal’s words. What could have changed
Khalid’s life forever? If not knowing he had a biological father somewhere
whom he had been told a very long time that was dead. And who would
have been in best position to give him that? If not Meshach, whom he
already told about Ryan being alive all these while. Of course, apart from
him and Alzarius, and then the person who captured Ryan, no one else
knew Ryan still existed. Lazarus was getting cocksure this was Khalid right
in front of him but he only wanted him to expose his real identity himself
to confirm that.

“He is a looser. My strength fails me to call him his befitting name.” Jamal
replied, and left the cabin. It was painful to him how he allowed himself to fall for Meshach gimmicks after all the lies and evil he did to him in the past.

That would be the last time he would ever fall for him again.

Jamal checked his wristwatch and sighed. It was already late. Considering
the horrible day he just had, he didn’t intend to go back home to meet his
pesky foster-father who ranted about breaking the promise he made to him
by obliging him any request he demanded for. He was would go to the
cave and pass the night over there. It would be a bad idea mourning
Tamara right from tonight till tomorrow. Tamara really worth it. She was
his epic love before Daisy came around trying snatch his heart from her.

Jamal had resolved considering Hilton advise towards Daisy. Hilton had
advised him to give Daisy a chance so he could move on. He told him that
there was possibility that Adrian lied to him just to shade the poor girl
badly in other for him to detest her forever, and that could be as a result of
her feelings towards him. Who doesn’t know Girls and jealousy are
cronies. So that was what Jamal intended to do, even though that wouldn’t
stop him from mourning and loving his beloved Tamara. He would
continue to love her while he would pester a way to look for Daisy, the girl
that was bold enough to stir his heart away from Tamara. He would love
her so much, but Jamal wasn’t sure if the love would surmount Tamara’s
love in his heart. But he would love her anyways.
Jamal brought out the photograph of Daisy he had taken from Adrian’s
house the other and stared at it amorously. The pretty face gleaming from the picture seemed to efface the disappointment he collected from
Meshach’s absence.


“Just hold on Daisy, I’m coming to find you and love you.” he muttered to
himself as he entered the cave to perform the crux obligation of mourning
her epic love –Tamara.
