The weeks passed fast and quick. Each day Snigdha scoured the newspapers and news channels for any breakthrough in the abduction of Roshan. Her eyes never tired of seeing his smiling picture that flashed on TV and in newspapers. She had secretly saved all cuttings and kept them in her cupboard under her clothes, looking at his faded picture before sleeping every night. She dreamt of him without fail every night. His face was deeply imprinted on her mind and she just couldn’t take it away even while she was asleep.



On the last Sunday of the month, Nitin called and asked hesitatingly,
‘Hey Snigdha, how do you feel about coming back? The film needs to be edited soon… ’
‘Yes Nitin, I agree. I was about to discuss this with you. I think I should comeback now… its just that… there is no news of…’ her voice trailed away.
