My fingers smelt strongly of K!ttyC@t as I
brought my phone to my ear to answer
Michelle’s call. I was still with Uchediya,
who was now driving me home. She hadn’t
stopped pleading that I pack into her
apartment right away but I wouldn’t yet give in as I still had a lot of things to
conclude before doing so.
“Hello”, I began, on picking the call
“Hey, it’s me. How you doing?”, Michelle
answered. I could tell a hint of gladness in
her voice “I’m doing great. Back yet?”, Uchediya
looked at me and then looked away
“Not yet. But I will be back tomorrow
evening. We are at the family house. Lost a
relative”
“So sorry Miche…so sorry”, I was careful not to finish the name. Uchediya mustn’t
know
“It’sokay. I will be fine. How’s my J0yst!ck
doing?”
I gave out an abrupt laugh
“Isn’t it my J0yst!ck anymore? Or has another girl stepped in?”
“All still remains the same I said”, Uchediya
was now giving me more persistent quick
glances
“Hmmmmm. I see. Well, we are meeting
tomorrow evening. Are we?” “Yea. Sure”, I replied after thinking for a
while
She said her goodbyes and hung up. She
left me a flying perk too. However,
Uchediya’s next words were what really got
me running from my skin. “Mummy Michelle, right?”, she enquired
just after I had dropped the call. I went
dumb!

“Emmmm….what?”, I was already on the
defensive
“Don’t ‘what’ me young man. You only joined our church last Sunday”, she had
her focus on the road now and was visibly
grinning
“Emmm….I still don’t understand”, I wasn’t
going to give in so easily
“Michelle should be running after you of course. I don’t need you to tell me”, she
was still grinning increasingly. “Even if she
hadn’t known you as at now, I would be
telling her about you right away! You are
one heck of a F**K!”
I died in my seat! She turned her face to look at me again
and began laughing. Obviously amused by
my shocked self.
“Don’t be shocked young man. You haven’t
seen anything yet. About eighteen sisters
have asked me; and probably Mummy, for your number. They are dying to contact
you.” She passed a hand to rub my thigh.
I remained calm but ultimately mortified.

“No handsome man in our church ever has
it easy, especially when you have us
around. Let alone one with a J0yst!ck as huge as a castrated horse.” That hand was now
stroking the bulge already formed on my
trousers.

I didn’t say a word. I couldn’t believe my
ears. Was she for real? 18? 18 ladies
chasing after me? Damn! How was that possible?

I was struggling to get my head
around the whole thing until we eventually
pulled up in front of my apartment. I had
indicated the house once we drove into my
street.

“Since you will be meeting with Mummy tomorrow evening, I will be coming to your
place early morning so that we can move
your things to mine. You can then visit
school from there”, she was being
particular
“Well….emmm….” “That’s the deal Dan. See you tomorrow”,
she smiled, gave me a peck and walked
back to the car. She wasn’t going to take
an excuse. She was gone the next minute.
