Unlike her sista,Amara neva reali bothered wot i
do With her sister.If she bothered,it didnt show
and i didnt see it..I didnt actualy go to their
house direct as i stopped at Udochukwu’s house
from Whence i sent his brother to secretly tell
Amara that am around.It wasnt Up to five
minutes before Amara Showed up,nd hugged me
(to Udochukwu’s bewilderment)..She imediatly
told me,lets go! “Mana kedu ebe anyi na
aga?”(But,where are we going?).She said i
shouldnt worry,that she will carry me in the
bicycle and i reluctantly nd hesitantly agreed..We
rode to Avu Market cuz it was a market dat day
(Eke Ukwu Avu)..She stopped by nd bought
some things which she gave me to hold as we
entered the bike and rode on to a place..She
stopped at one compound like that in Umuijem(a
kindred in my comunity)..She held my hand as
we entered the house..The only person around
was only a girl of Amara’s age(i guess she was her
clasmate) and they both greeted..”O ya wu nwa
ahu m n’agwa gi maka ya”(He is the kid that i
have been telling you about) Amara said..Nwa
nke a makwara mma o.”o wuru n’obu nwanne gi
nwoke eh,nkakwara isi ka o bia luo nwanne m

brother,i would have said he should come and
marry my sister that is his age mate),the other
girl said..Amara looked at me nd smiled..It wasnt
the first time that i have heard such thing,so i
just ignored them while i kept thinking why

sugarcane..i finngered her as her waist rotated

imediatly Grabbed my Greatman as it itched me a

whilst removin my hand 4rm her kitty-cat,bt she

guess she was reaching there..i continued nd not
long afta,she made me stand up..she sat down in
dat sofa nd told me to sit in between her

GreatEntrance between as she drove on nd on..i
guess she soon realised that dat position was

choice but to..The annoying part is that she said

to me? What of Okwii(i guess it was Nkechi’s
boyfriend..just my guess)..it was the first time
Amara called the girls name since we got
there..The girl remained dumb,and claimed that i
don’t care attitude of girlz..I guess this attitude
infuriated Amara as she made to rush at Nkechi if
not for my timely intervention.. I pleaded with
Amara..As a kid i was,i asked Nkechi if wat she is
thinking of doing is right to her?. I thought she is
ur friend?i still asked,in succession to the previous
question,which i didnt get reply for too…”a choro

the house in anger as i followed her..i didnt even

place,to deliver the things she had bought earlier

to allow us go..I know if i didnt,u cud have ended
up fighting with her there,wich was bad..i told
her i neva actualy wanted to do it anyway,not
after hearing the Whole thing she said about
Nkechi…I assured her that i knew three of the
people she said had slept with Nkechi and that i
would set her up(i guess this one made her
happy a bit),but she doubtfuly asked me “Elee

reached her Aunty’s place…As i later Got to
know,she will be taking us over in Primary 4…Her
husband is dead nd she had only one
daughter..Her name is Faith..Since she was way
too mature than Nkiru and Amara,i guessed she
would probably be around 25+…”Onye wu kwa
