I froze immediately i saw her smiling at us with hands akimbo. I
immediately disengaged from Mira, picked up my clothes and dashed into my
room with nonstop-able speed; even Usain Bolt will even give me accolade
for my speed
I sat on my bed as tears tricked down from my eyes. I don’t know what i
could do and i don’t want to lose my mum’s trust. My major problem was
that i don’t know how to face her and i don’t know the present fate of
Mira all because of my stupid lust
I paced around the room, hitting the wall with my fist as i winced in
frustration. The best thing for me at that moment was just to vacate the
house to avoid the presence of mum and Mira. I managed to take my bath and
in no time, i drifted into deep slumber.
I woke up some minutes to 1pm, in no time, a knock came on my door and i
froze thinking that it was my mum but fortunately for me, Mira walked in
MIRA: mummy wants to see you **she bluntly said, avoiding eyes contact
with me**

ME: i am sorry Mira
I tried to apologise to her but she didn’t utter anything to me except
repeating the message that she brought for me. She made to walk away but
stopped on her track without turning her face to me

ME: please wait Mira, i knew that i am the cause of everything and i want
you to find a place in your heart to forgive me **i sincerely pleaded**

MIRA: i told you, i warned you but you wouldn’t listen

ME: i am sorry please

MIRA: i don’t have anything with you but try sort things out with mummy

ME: okay baby, i will

MIRA: and please, no more baby, love or whatsoever

ME: okay, but tell mum that i am not coming down yet

MIRA: what? Why? **she asked in surprise**

ME: i can’t stand in her present right now

MIRA: will you continue to avoid her?

ME: no but that is the only right thing to do right now

MIRA: okay then

She left my room and i felt a bit relieved. I walked to the door and
bolted it before i crashed on my bed trying to cool off my brain. I
decided to speak with Evelyn because i have not spoken with for the day;
her voice really helped me as she made me relax with her jokes and laugh.

A knock came on my door immediately i dropped and i got up to open the
door, thinking that it was Mira
I opened the door to behold my mum standing in front of me stunning as
never. She was putting on a pencil jean that brought out all her curves
with i sleeveless white top with light red stripes which barely contained
her. I didn’t know that my mum was that hot, so hot than other girls that
have ever met and she looked very younger

ME: eerrmm…i am sorry mum

MUM: **smiling** not time for that lover boy

ME: please mum **i pleaded as tears began to fall from my eyes**

MUM: **still smiling** not time for that boy, ready for the date?

ME: i don’t think that i could be able make mum **replied looking sideway**
I even forgot that i promised my mum that i will take her out because of
my state of mind and i don’t know if i will be able to enjoy it if it
takes place

MUM: don’t worry son, mummy is not gonna scold you. Be fast with your
preparation because i can’t wait much long **she said and walked away**

I quickly dressed in my preferred cloth as i have no other options than to
follow her, moreover, i was the one that brought all the problems to
myself. I met her in the sitting room chatting happily with Mira as they
laughed. Mira’s countenance changed immediately she sighted me while my
mum stood up and made her way to the exit door. I decided to ignore Mira
and follow her. She handed me her car key immediately we step outside

MUM: remember, you are taking me out on a date?

ME: yes mum

MUM: **smiling** you do everything for me, both driving

ME: okay mum **i replied uneasily**

That was my first time of driving a jeep. I started the car and drove out
of the compound and made my way into town

ME: please forgive me mum **i glanced at her as i controlled the steering**

MUM: focus on the road and stop distracting yourself; we will talk when we
get to your preferred destination

ME: okay mum **i replied as i turned my attention to the road**
