I finished my food and returned the plate to
the kitchen before returning to watch
movie. Mum left for bed around 8pm leaving
me with Mira. She used that opportunity
to try start up conversation but i told her that
the movie that was showing was my
favourite so she has no option than to wait
till the movies ends.
Unfortunately for me, NEPA took light but the
standby quickly starts its work but i
don’t feel like watching the movie anymore as
i don’t even have interest in it. I
don’t know any excuse to give her and i can’t
walk into the room just like that. My
phone pinged, indicating a watsapp
notification from Juliet; i opened the message
and smiled as i read the content of her
message
“i tried to keep your image off my my mind but
it seemed it has become a part of me.
The wonderful moment we had together make
me sleepless all night, wish you are here
to cuddle me, can’t wait to meet you again”
I replied the chat and we kept on chatting till
10pm when i told her that i was
feeling dizzy. I sluggishly stood up only to see
Mira in deep slumber on the couch.
I tried to woke her up but she wouldn’t wake
I began to wonder why she will be sleeping
like a dead person. I angrily slapped her
back with force and she jolted up but still
feeling sleepy. I dragged her upstairs;
it was a very big task as i was also feeling
sleepy. I opened her door and pushed
her onto the bed, l watched her as she drifted
off immediately that i have to place
her well on the bed before going to my room
where i slumped to the bed and drifted
off immediately
I woke up the following morning in flying
spirit, i felt so strong that i felt like
performing an exercise that morning. I
cleaned myself and headed downstairs where i
met breakfast already set. After the breakfast,
mum said that they might stay long
on their outing, and will return in the evening
because they have other work places
to visit.

Immediately they were gone, i called Liza to
tell her that i will be coming anything
as from 2pm downward as i don’t know when
i will be done with Janet. I saw Jane’s
call hanging as i dropped the call with Liza
and picked it
ME: hey Jane
JANET: hey Ben, hope i am safe this one you
do not call me sexy Jane?

ME: don’t mind me, i was just waking up
JANET: hope you are not among all those
lazy dudes that spent most of their time
sleeping?
ME: funny you, why will you think about that?
I slept late last night because of one
of my best movie, that was why i woke up late
and beside, it is still after 7am
JANET: okay then. I called to tell you that i
am getting ready; better prepare and
don’t keep me waiting
ME: sure, i will start right away
I quickly took my bath and selected the cloth
that i chose myself at the boutique
and put them on. I looked at the mirror to
check myself out but what i saw really
made me angry. The top was just shapeless
while the trouser seemed to be bigger than
each other. I couldn’t control my anger, i
regretted picking the clothes and not
allowing Mira to return it back. I pulled them
off and threw them away; the cloth
became a waste as i can’t even wear it at
house.

I picked a confirm light blue pencil jean
trouser with a white long sleeve and put
them on, the cloth fitted me very well that i
began to wonder if my mum was a
fashionist. I arranged my hair and walk to
stand at the balcony of the last floor so
that i could see anybody that was driving
toward the gate but i could only get far
away view.

Not too long, i spotted a pink sport car that
was approaching the gate. I need no
soothsayer to tell me that it was Janet as i
saw the car at their compound when we
visited. I climbed down to meet her outside.
She was climbing down from the car when
i met her.
She rushed to me and gave me a brief hug
with a peck. She was putting on a pink gown
which stopped some inches above her knee
with a high heel which looked more like
gold with and her fragrance was very rich

ME: you didn’t take much long
JANET: was afraid you will keep me waiting
ME: wouldn’t do that to my sexy Jane
**smiling**

JANET: **laughing** let’s go handsome
I entered the car while she drove out of the
compound
ME: your car?

JANET: yeah, with a customized number
ME: and why are you not with any security
JANET: when i am with you?
ME: but i can’t protect you from real attack
JANET: but you will not depart me
ME: sure not

If i hear. If anything happens, i will even deny
knowing her. I am very young and
will not waste my life because of someone
else, most especially the females except
my mum

JANET: i always feel more protected when i
move alone than been guided by
bodyguards. It seemed to me that they will
expose me more and some real coconut head
bag guys will attack to see if my bodyguards
will be able to protect me though my
father keep on insisting that we go out with
one

ME: **shrugged** but you can still keep them
more discretely
JANET: how?
ME: like whenever they follow you, they will
remain in the car since it was tinted
and no one will notice them
JANET: do you think that i will just walk out
of the house just like that?
ME: what do you mean?
JANET: my car has tracker which was
connected to our computer room. It was
always
monitored for 24hrs. And my wrist watch was
also connected to the system

ME: that is really very sensible
JANET: and what of you? Don’t you know that
you are prone to attack than me?
ME: you know that people don’t really know
me
JANET: i will take you to the press and people
will get to know you in less than one
hour
ME: and who told you that i want people to
know about me?
JANET: **surprised** you don’t want people
to know your background?
ME: any need for that?
JANET: it will grant you everything you need;
respect, fear, fame and everything
ME: forget about that, that doesn’t change
anything
JANET: if you insist
ME: so, where are you taking me to? To
cinema, sport centre, ice cream centre or to
your boyfriend’s house?
JANET: what give you the insinuation that i
have a boyfriend?

ME: why won’t i insinuate. A beautiful
wealthy girl like you? Which guy will not be
willing to gain your attention despite
sacrificing everything he has?
JANET: i actually broke up with my boyfriend
last month; he was just a jack and a
cheat. He don’t even mind telling me to my
face that she can’t do with only me
without flirting with other girls
ME: and you never have any other admirer
since then?
JANET: many have been asking me out since,
most especially at school but i don’t
find anyone interesting but i think i have
found one **smiling**
ME: Was your parent aware that you have a
boyfriend?
My aim of asking her that question was
because i was very afraid of her father
despite the fact that he was very cool and
showed me love, he was still a politician
and you don’t know what they can do as they
can change into different moods like a
chameleon.
JANET: they are very aware. He usually visits
us and spends a lot of time with us.
My dad never found it as anything but my
mum always preach to us to abstain from sex
as it will affect us negatively
At the mention of “”our mother preaches to us
to abstain from sex”” my spirit cooled
down as that was the only thing i needed from
her. Though she was very beautiful, i
couldn’t find myself falling in love with her

ME: hope they won’t be sad if i come to visit
you personally?
JANET: no need to worry about that, beside,
you will be visiting my dad
ME: but that one is quite different. I can’t
have any privacy with you

JANET: you are right. You can visit me when
they are out. My dad and mum are not
usually around except in the evening when
they close from office and during the
weekend

ME: what if they return to meet me in, won’t
they suspect anything?

JANET: just relax, you are too afraid. They
will not do anything and they will not
get mad at you even if we kiss at their
presence

ME: that will be better. So, where are you
taking me to?
I have to ask her because we have been
driving for more than twenty minutes without
even braking
JANET: **smiling** you will know when we get
there
There was a question bordering me but i don’t
know how to present it to her without
raising any suspicion from her but i can’t keep
it to myself because it might be
very dangerous
ME: what about your sister, does she have
any boyfriend?

JANET: why do you ask?
ME: i want to know if she also brings him
home
JANET: she has one but i think they are no
longer together
ME: **surprised** what happened
JANET: i don’t actually know. She just
returned home yesterday after spending much
time out only to tell me that she was going to
break up with him but never told me
any concrete reason why she wanted to do
that
Hope it was not because of me? Hell yes! I
have found myself in a big s--t.
