EVELYN: hello baby boy

ME: hello love

EVELYN: you really got me scared. Have been expecting your call since, thought that something bad happened to you

ME: i am sorry. Have reached home since but you know all these mother’s discussions that never cease

EVELYN: yeah. So how was your journey?

ME: very safe but hectic

EVELYN: that is how it always is. How your mum?

ME: very good. I am missing you baby **feeling like crying**

EVELYN: be strong baby. I am also missing you like mad

ME: your voice is wonderful

EVELYN: **Laughed** you now noticed my voice because you no longer see me

ME: hope we will be hearing from each other every day?

EVELYN: yes of course

ME: that will be better because i won’t want to miss your heart melting angelic voice

I hung the call and felt like crying. No matter how i try to be happy, i always became sad when i became lonely. I felt like calling Mira to come and keep me company but i don’t have her number which really helped matters as it may lead to something else

I called Liza and she picked at the first ring

ME: hello baby

LIZA: evening handsome

ME: how was your day beauty?

LIZA: you didn’t call since, why?

ME: my mother won’t just let me be, from one discussion to the other

We go on to have a very lovely conversation which ended with i love you baby from her which i just murmured some reply to her. I quickly took my bath and put on my pyjamas and relaxed on the bed for sometime before heading downstairs asthere was no need to be in a haste. What i saw when i got to the sitting room took me off guard
