The concern on his voice made me to look at him; he was standing outside the bus. A young good looking man that was in his late twenties

ME: eerm….eerm..Thank you for your concern but i will be fine **i stammered**
I don’t know how i will tell another person about my current problem, not even my friend what more of a total stranger. The only person that i ever trusted was Evelyn and she was my problem. I could see from the face of the man that he was not convinced but shrugged it off as he doesn’t know what else to say

MAN: i am the driver of this car, you have to submit your receipt and sign this paper **handing me a form** in case of any unexpected emergency

ME: oh! I am sorry, it escaped my mind
I handed him the receipt that Evelyn gave me and signed the form before he walked away murmuring thank you

I was relieved to know that it was a young man that will be conveying us and not some old drivers who will be crawling with the car like a sick tortoise

Ten minutes later, a girl climbed the car and sat by my side, i was very upset and pissed off as i couldn’t imagine myself sharing the front seat with somebody, not because of the person but because the space was not enough

GIRL: good morning **she said with a thin voice**

I glanced at her and shun her as i was not in the mood of any greeting what more of talks. I focused my attention on the front mirror as i watch some of the activities that were going on in the park so as to erase my memory from Evelyn but to no avail. Most of the activities even helped to remind me of her. The girl sitting beside me murmured something very loud but i don’t even care to listen to her or even look at her again.
In no time, the bus was filled and we set out for the six hours journey. The bus which was to set out at approximately 7am was delayed until some minutes to 8am. As the journey proceeds, i decided to plug my phone on the car as the percentage of the battery was getting low.

About one hour later, i unplugged the phone and put my charger back to my hand bag.

GIRL: hey handsome, why can’t you even answer my greeting? **she coldly asked**
I stared at the girl for sometimes before focussing my gaze back to the glass. I could see a lot of disappointment on her face but that couldn’t move me as my present disappointment was an upgrade to hers. The driver looked at me for some seconds before focusing on his driving as he shakes his head

GIRL: **touched my thigh** you don’t look arrogant but your behaviour shows otherwise. You can’t even reply to a common greeting, what is wrong with you? **she fumed**

I looked at this girl but didn’t reply her. I was like
“why can’t you just mind your business and let me be?”

“is it compulsory to answer greetings?”
I decided to keep my calm, after all, there is no need to even mind her and her greetings

DRIVER: why is it this fine babe is talking to you but you just don’t even care to answer her? **he asked me while i still didn’t reply, after all, i paid for my seat and owe him no explanation to any of my action whatsoever**

GIRL: i just want to ask you for a favour that is all

ME: what is it? **i calmly replied**

GIRL: eerm…eerm. just answer my greetings first

I looked at this girl and began to wonder her problem with all this greeting stuffs

ME: hope you will let me be after that?

GIRL: yeah

ME: good morning beauty **i forcefully tried to sound romantic**

GIRL: **smiling** what a lovely voice

ME: **feeling irritated** is that why you asked me to answer you?

GIRL: no, not that. I wanted to ask you for your charger, my phone is shut down due to low battery voltage and i really need to reach my parent to inform them of my arrival

I handed her my charger and she plugged her phone while i never utter anything to her

GIRL: thank you. But you seemed withdrawn

ME: if you could look properly, you would have noticed that i am in deep thinking **i replied without looking at her**

GIRL: can you talk about what is worrying you?

ME: don’t you see that i am not in the mood to talk? ** i threw at her**

GIRL: you can change your mood you know?
I stared at this girl for sometimes without uttering anything to her. I felt like smashing her head because she was really stepping above her boundary. You don’t even know what was bothering somebody and you are telling the person to switch his/her mood. “What kind of human being is this” i asked myself?

I threw her a very deadly look and i could see the fear in her eyes. I don’t know why i did that but she should have let me be

GIRL: i only want to be of help **she pleadingly said**

ME: just shut the hell up **i shouted**
My out broke attracted the attention of other passengers in the bus while the girl busted into tears like a
baby that was denied b----t feeding
