Three weeks later.

He was discharged, we returned to the hotel and I made him have a hot shower. I got a room for Sammy and Eugene already. Through out the last three weeks, i slept in the hospital with him, i witness every injection and medication administered. Eugene brought clothes for us. I started my period in the early hours of the morning, I miss his cuddle, I didn’t even bother to tell him my period was on, he was so weak that he drifted to dreamland after the hot bath. I went out for lunch, by the time I return, he was up.
“You need rest” I sat next to him and ran a finger across his hair.

“I am sorry, i am not strong enough to see you through this month but I would try my best next month, you wouldn’t do it alone I promise” He leaned forward and kissed my head, he groaned holding the stitched part of his stomach.

“Sorry, Just rest, I am not complaining. Moreover, how did you know?”
“It’s another 28days already, you don’t have to remind me. Did you get your sanitary napkins?” His eyes went straight to a my pant bag, I normally kept my pads there.
“Yes, I am fine”
I undressed and got in bed with him. I couldn’t sleep on him like I would love to. He la!d on his back since that’s the only position he found comfortable.

I took my pills and hugged my pillow. I would have to stay up this night on my own and hold my tummy in pains. He soon drifted off again and I did the same.

Next Morning.
“Good morning Beatrice” His masculine voice woke me. I thought I was dreaming, he wouldn’t wake up before me, he needed rest than I do.

When I opened my eyes, i saw him holding a bunch of flower, I sat up scrubbing my sleepy eyes.

“Happy birthday in advance darling” He grinned kneeling next to me. My birthday was 30days away, i almost forgot though, I have been disturbed all through the last few weeks.
“Ambrose you don’t have to kneel, you aren’t strong” I took the flower from him, it smelt nice.

“I feel better this morning, I think you would have to be my doctor whenever I fall ill” He smiled and I felt special.
“Come, let’s have our morning bath together” He took the duvet off my body and waited for me to climb down the bed.

We had a hot bath together, he was really erected and I became scared. it has been like this for few weeks now, since he left Mr Micheal’s home, His manhood get erected for no reason, he has complained to meet a million times and I thought it was because he had stayed away from sex for close to a month now. I think he’s not yet strong to have me, if not, with the way he used to carve for me, he would have taken me.

After bath we went for breakfast with Eugene and Sammy. It was then that she had the time to tell us about her experience in Mr Micheal’s captive.

“After marriage, we left for South Africa. He told me he do business not until i gave birth to Sammy, I realised he was into hard drugs, he has a lab in that house were he mixes and package them. When I discovered, I confronted him and the beating began” She paused swallowing her grains.
