Haira POV

I sat at the reception, waiting patiently for the doctor to give me good news. I called the police and they raided the building, Mr Micheal was still breathing and unconscious, he was rushed to the hospital, the gateman was arrested. I haven’t had the time to ask Eugene what happened. She just clung to her son while I cried for my dying husband.
“Which one of you is Haira Ford?” A nurse came forward with a sliver Stainless tray in her hands.

“Me” I quickly jumped up, i don’t want to get any bad news, not now. Our marriage is still very young. I can’t deal.
“Your husband insist on seeing you” She said and I jumped up in excitement. He’s alive, Eugene and Sammy weren’t allowed in. I was told not to spend more the ten minutes with him because he needs rest.
“I thought you died” I kissed his forehead. His deep eyes almost invisible. He la!d shirtless on the bed with a fold of white bandage around his waist.
“I wouldn’t leave you” He tried forcing out a smile, his hand touched my face and a tear escaped my eyes. He took my hand to touch his manhood and it was so hard and bulgy. I look at his with dilated eyes.
“Ambrose, you just came out of the theatre fee minutes ago and you are still think of this?”

“I get hard on unnecessarily, I think something is wrong with me, the liquid injected into me is over working” He said softly, he look so weak and pained.
“It would subsides, I think the liquid would work for few days before clearing off, you would be fine” I rubbed the front of his head and we looked in each others eyes. Everywhere was quite and I got emotional. Tears fell off my eyes and he wiped it off.
The tears chunk, I turned my head slightly and a middle age male doctor walked in.
“Madam, you are his wife?” He asked and I nodded.

“You know about his blood group?” He asked, I bent my head forward staring at his hurt stomach. Ambrose had the rarest blood on earth. Only 50 people possessed the rh null blood in the world. This is why Ambrose is always careful of excess cut since he can receive from only a rh null carrier.
“Yes” I manage to say swallowing hard.
“We have a rh null nurse working here, we bought the blood to save your husband from her, you would pay hugely for it” He said and I nodded, Ambrose’s life is very important.

“You have to excuse him now, he needs rest” He told me. I stood up but Ambrose held my hand firmly, fiddling with my wedding ring.

“Let her stay please, she wouldn’t disturb me, I promise” He said gently.
“Mr Ford, you…………..”
“Please, i wouldn’t shut my eyes if she’s far from me” He pleaded, the doctor shrugged as she left us to ourselves.
“Baby, how do you feel now?” I quickly sat on the bed taking his hand in mine. He just stared, i know he must be really hungry, he hasn’t eaten for hours now.
“Should I get you food?” I asked and he waved his other hand meaning a no.

Three weeks later.
He was discharged, we returned to the hotel and I made him have a hot shower. I got a room for Sammy and Eugene already. Through out the last three weeks, i slept in the hospital with him, i witness every injection and medication administered. Eugene brought clothes for us. I started my period in the early hours of the morning, I miss his cuddle, I didn’t even bother to tell him my period was on, he was so weak that he drifted to dreamland after the hot bath. I went out for lunch, by the time I return, he was up.
“You need rest” I sat next to him and ran a finger across his hair.

“I am sorry, i am not strong enough to see you through this month but I would try my best next month, you wouldn’t do it alone I promise” He leaned forward and kissed my head, he groaned holding the stitched part of his stomach.

“Sorry, Just rest, I am not complaining. Moreover, how did you know?”
“It’s another 28days already, you don’t have to remind me. Did you get your sanitary napkins?” His eyes went straight to a my pant bag, I normally kept my pads there.
“Yes, I am fine”
