I wake up they sweat like person wey they run from evil lion even
ontop say fan they the highest level i still they sweat heavily, i
woke up and started meditating about the dream, why would the lady say I get I will get all of them killed? and why she come shoot me arrow abi she nor fit explain why I go get all of them kill so that I go take precaution, and she just shoot me arrow and a
white one for that matter, i nor understand anything like this at all,
so i got up and waka go parlour, i went to the fridge and took cooled
water, i enter my room back and tried to sleep but i cant, the dream
they disturb my medulla onblongatha that i cant even close my eyes,
all i see is the white arrow, the arrow was very small and tiny but
sharp and fast, when i see say i nor fit sleep again i relocate to
parlour and lock the passage door so that i wont be disturbing my aunt
inside room, i took one movie and started watching, as i was watching
the film i was still thinking about the dream, what really does that
arrow represent and who blow the trumpet and horn? well maybe na she blow the trumpet but the horn na who blow am? and also the big
insect that flashes light what does it represent, hmmmm only time will
tell, well do i really have time cause the dream explain it to me very
well that i was shot on my chest, though i didnt know if i died or
not but i was shot.

I wasnt feeling alright so i decided to put a call to Edna, i call her
and she pick at once, hmmm na wa oh, this girl no dey sleep at all?
Edna: hello Oz.
Me: yeah, how far.
Edna: fine, what is it?
Me: nothing i just wanted to talk to somebody.
Edna: you cant sleep?
Me: yeah, am having nightmares.
Edna: it will pass, its just that you were thinking of bad thing
before you sleep thats why.
Me: really?
Edna: yeah
Me: but i was thinking of celestina before i sleep and i
believe shes not a bad person.
Edna: tell me about the dream.
Me: i was shot by a white arrow.
Edna: how?
Me: i was in a dark room with no light when suddenly i saw something
blinking, i went over there and saw those night flies a big one like
rat, i tried to catch it but it flew away and hit a wall, it scattered
on the ground forming glipse of light, then i saw a hatch below and
enter inside only to see myself in two strange road, i followed the
one on my left thats where i was shot when trying to open the gate by
a white arrow.

Edna: hmmmm, your dream is so complicated cause i really cant bring
any meaning from it.
Me: yeah thats why i cant sleep cus its complicated to me too.
Edna: its still dark you have to sleep.
Me: what are you still doing by this time?
Edna: am in a bar drinking.
Me: by this time?
Edna: this is the best time to drink.
Me: and you are alone?
Edna: no with my girls.
Me: you guys should be careful.
Edna: dont worry nothing will happen.
I heard a car horn on our frontage,
Edna: who is that?
Me: i dont know oh let me check, i will get back to you.
Edna: wai……

I cut the call

I drop the phone on the table sharperly, i look time for wall, 12:09 in
the midnight, omo see gbege, na who come they pack for our frontage by
this time of the night?
I check window and saw a white car, the person don dey even come down
self, i dey look am for window jejeje, the person come down come go the back of the car and open the boot, he took something that look like gun from the boot,
immediately i saw it, i ran to the kitchen looking for matchete,
as if i go fit fight, as i dey go parlour again, i saw the person
trying to open our gate, but wait, e be like say na key him dey use,
abi na master key him dey use? i was afraid that i quickly took my
phone and text Edna, “please help am in trouble”
after i send the message finish i hide for back of door for parlour
dey wait for the criminal to come in, the person open the frontgate,
next is the door, i still stand for back of our dormont dey watch am from
window, outside dey dark so i nor fit see him face, but i know say na
man, the person no even struggle to open the door, him just open am
jejeje without any holdup, as im dey push the door open after
unlocking i raise my matchete up waiting for him to come in, as he put
his first step inside i use all my strenght to hit his leg, i dont know
how but he withdraw his leg and shouted.
“who be that”? He asked
Me: bros na you?
“you nor well oh”, he said and open the door,
Me: welcome sir.

Bros: na when you come turn vigilante?
Me: i be they watch film wey i they hear sound, i think say na thief.
Bros: so you nor know my car?
Me: i nor dey when you buy am, how benin?
Bros: Benin they there why una no on outside light?
Me: I nor know oh
Bros: my people dey sleep?
Me: yes sir,.
I took his bag from him and took it to his room for him, when him wife wakeup
she go arrange am, my bros just enter chair and sleep once, na wa oh,
e be like say im don tire, if him tire na im go come sleep for chair wey I dey sleep?
abeg make him enter room go meet his wife joor.
I wan go inside my room when my phone begin ring ontop table, yeeee i
remember say i text Edna i quickly took the phone from the table and
ran inside my room.
Me: hello dear.
Edna: whats going on.
Me: sorry, na my bros come.
Edna: oh, i see i hope no problem sha.
Me: no oh, i think say na thief na im make i call you.

Edna: thats good, at least i hope you continue to call me incase of
any other problem.
Me: of course i will.
Edna: and I can see you are becoming vigilant.
Me: how?
Edna: like texting me to help you.
Me: that’s not vigilant.
Edna: it is my dear and am happy you did, please next time don’t hesitate to call me also.
Me: yes ma.
Edna: alright take care, see you in the morning.
Me: alright dear, bye bye.
She cut the call and i feel bad for disturbing her, i heard the
noise of matchine so i stand up and look at the window, i saw her in
complete black attire, putting on specs, driving away in a slow
motion, then i really feel bad.
