Unavoidable Nemesis

“Adaeze what happened” I said and join her on the bed.

“My baby is gone” she said and started crying loudly, I was so touched and I let her rest her head on my
body, her tears moved me in that I didn’t know when tears started falling from my cheek.

“It’s okay dear, you are still young and you can have as many baby as you want, am really sorry” I said.

“How? I cannot have anymore kid because I sacrificed my womb transferring my baby, I thought after
the baby I don’t need anymore kid so I decided to sacrifice my womb in order to keep her safe, I never
knew I was putting her to her death” she said amidst tears.
“It’s okay honey, things happen for a reason, you will find a way I know you and because I know you are
strong, you will have more babies, how and what happened?” I ask.

“I transfered her successfully but when I went out to look for something before I return she was dead,
they have taken her body for cleansing and before the day run out we will find out who carried out the
evil act” she said.

As she said that my mind skipped.

“How are you going to find out who is responsible?” I ask.

“We will see her last ten minutes through a mirror like a video before she was killed” she said and my
mind started beating fast.

“I swear I won’t only kill the person responsible I will also kill everything the person love” she said, not
knowing she is driving needle through my heart.

“Just relax okay, the person will not go unpunished” I said.

“Thanks daddy” she said.

I smiled as she called me daddy, I started robbing her hair like a baby, I felt pity on her she really want
that baby, now the big question is what am I going to do If she find out that am responsible for the
death of her baby? A big question and the only person I love is mercy’s, she was never safe with me no
matter where she runs to, all I can do now is let her know danger is coming and she needs to be prepared.
