Unavoidable Nemesis

I took out my injection and sip the drink containing the pill, I walk to the baby again oh boy I feel like
crying, this baby is so cute, I pierce the injection inside the ball cell membrane, the syringe pierce the
back of the baby, I inject the liquid and then walk out gently, I took my bag and ran out of the place as
fast as my legs can take me, as I was leaving the hall I saw adaeze coming, she was walking so fast as if
she knows something is going on, I hide and let her pass without her noticing me, the moment she
passed me I came out from hiding and climb up from the hidden hall, I came out from the store as I
open the store door I heard a very loud shout from the hall below, I guess she has found out, as she
continue shouting “No No No” everywhere started shaking and then.the ground started giving way,
everywhere started sinking so I continue running till I came out from the market, now that I have
angered adaeze I hope I have the medicine to calm her down because if not then I have to be ready to
deal with another adanna because she’s gonna cause havoc everywhere, I return to mercy’s house am
too scared to go home now, can’t deal with what I have done.

I relax on mercy bed and then minutes later the ground shake again, I guess she’s still feeling the pain,
can you imagine having her and that baby the kind of evil they can do together? I know it was wrong
killing my baby but I think it’s the right thing,.
Feeling scared my phone ring and then I saw a message, I look at the screen and saw from unknown
number “come home now” gan gan, my fear multiply.

I cannot reply the message because no number and if I delay she might do something bad especially
now that she’s angry, I took my things leaving behind the pill and anointing oil and rush out of mercys
house, I enter road midnight and started walking to my house.

I got scared as I enter my compound, am still thinking what she will do when she found out that am
responsible for the death of our baby, it was an act I shouldn’t be proud of, as I open my door and I
switch on the light I saw her, she was sitting at the top of my bed crying.
