Unavoidable Nemesis

“I honestly don’t know” I said.

The light keep coming and going, so mercy stood up to check the window, her neighbor’s light is normal
only her own is having fault.

“I thought we defeated adanna” she said.

“Yes this is not her doing” I said.

“But only her can do all this stuff” she said and took her bible, she took anointing oil too and spray it
round her door, I was sitting on the bed watching her as she pray around the room, five minutes later
everything calm down.

She sat on her chair and face me.

“Now spill it out, what’s the matter?”

“But I told you there is nothing” I said.

“Come on dear, I know when something is troubling you, I she back?” she ask.

“No” I said.

“Then tell me what is it?” she ask.

I know she will keep pushing if I don’t tell her but I just like it as she’s happy, telling her adaeze is around
will hinder that happiness, and she will be traveling next week so she don’t need to know about adaeze,
I can’t risk her getting involve with all this again, I simply cant.

“I said there is nothing why do you keep asking?” I shouted.

She was shocked because I normally don’t shout on her.

“There is nothing and you just raise your temper at me which you have never done only when adanna is
around” she said.

“You are really annoying I hope you know that, I will leave you since you don’t want me here” I said
angrily and walk out, she was calling me back but I refuse to answer, I enter road and disappeared.

I know it was wrong but I know adaeze will continue disturbing her so it is better I leave so that she will
leave mercy in peace.

Around eleven I walk alone from tonimas to MCC road, I didn’t follow the main road because vigilantees
are there, I know they must ask some questions even the ones I don’t have answer to, so it’s better I
avoid them by all means.

I got home thirty minutes later but there was no sign of her, I look everywhere searching for her but I
didn’t see, I thought she wanted me home so why did she leave? I hope she’s not at mercy’s.
