Unavoidable Nemesis

“oga we done reach” the driver brought me back to life.

when I came down I started walking towards her house I didn’t care about Adaeze though I know she
will be furious but what she did gave me advantage, I don’t understand the dream but what I do know is
that there will be a heavy disaster if I let that baby live.

Apart from last time mercy has change her house due to some personal issues, she now lives at umuode
local government. I enter the ever busy tonimas and turn to the left, I get to her house around ten in the
night which I know I won’t be going home today because anytime I come to her house late in the night
she never allows me to go back saying it’s too dangerous.

I knock at her door but she didn’t answer, I knock again and I heard who is that.
“It’s me dear open up” I said.
She opened the door for me.

“Welcome honey, why coming by this time?” she fired me with question not even allowing me to settle.

“I was hold up joor” I said and sit on the bed,she join me on the bed, she was putting on pink night gown
with pant but no bra.

“What’s the hold up, do you know how many times I called you?” she queried.

“Am sorry love, so what did you cook?” I ask.

She look at me like she knows am hiding something, then she got up to fetch food for me, she gave me
the food and as I eat in silence NEPA brought the light.

“Why did you come late? What where you doing at home?” she ask.

“Nothing, I was watching football” I lied.

She didn’t believe me but she knows that if it’s anything serious I will tell her, as I continue eating my
phone started ringing.

“Who is that?” I ask her because she was using my phone.

“Unknown caller” she said handing the phone to me.

I didn’t want to pick because I know who the person is, the phone continue ringing nonstop and then I
angrily switch it up, me and mercy relax on the bed using her phone to entertain ourselve, I always like
her company.

As we watch film together then nepa took the light, within seconds the light on again, then the fan started rotating at full speed, I think adaeze want me home

“What’s going on?” mercy ask.
