The Vow - Season 2 - Episode 42

Sindoora increases her bid to 30 million and the well-dressed man whose face hasn't been revealed, increases to 35.



Sindoora increases to 40 million and the man out bids again.
In the end, the man bids 70 million and Sindoora gives up.
Everyone congratulates the man.
Sindoora wonders who he is but before she gets to his seat, he already left.




She asks the MC who the man is.
He tells her that his name is Mr BS and he is also a rich man in the city.
Sindoora goes to ask some people in the hall but they tell her he's already left.
Mr BS gets into his car and the driver moves.
Rajiv is at the temple.




He wonders why Chandra brought him there then left suddenly.
Chandra returns in a wedding outfit and tells him that the priest will soon come.
Rajiv looks worried.
Chandra asks if he doesn't like her.




He says he does.
The priest calls them.
They sit in front of the priest and exchange garlands.
They go through the entire ceremony and Rajiv inwardly prays for Mahua to forgive him as he's doing it for their own good.
Divya enters the room to meet Amar sleeping.




She covers him properly with the blanket.
She has tears in her eyes and asks if he doesn't want to see his wife, to end his day just as he always used to.
She turns away from him and he opens his eyes to look at her.




He reaches for her hand but when she turns, he pretends to be sleeping.
She leaves the room in tears.
He also has tears in his eyes.
A woman is at the house telling the women the rules of a fast that wives are supposed to observe for the right husbands.




More of the relatives of the family come to join in the fast.
Sindoora looks at Chandra and asks if she doesn't think she's over dressed.
Chandra is still wearing the outfit she got married in.



She tells Sindoora that it's time to light the
lamps and begin the ceremony.
Chandra lights her lamp and tells herself that it's for Rajiv.
Mahua doesn't partake in the fast.
She is crying as she watches the other women.
Divya goes to her and tries to get her to join them.




Mahua says she can't participate as she doesn't have a husband.
Sindoora is watching them so Divya is unable to say anything.
In the morning, as Amar is leaving for work, Divya begs him to come early as she is fasting.
He is still cold to her




He takes her hand away from him and says he's not sure.
Sindoora is with her party members.
They are donating funds.
A member of the party tells Sindoora that somebody donated more money than she did.
She asks how he is.




They tell her that his name is BS, he just joined their party and he is already forming a relationship with the high command.
The high command's office door is open so they can see BS talking to him but he has his back to them and they can't see his face.




When he leaves, Sindoora follows him and says she wants to talk to him.
He doesn't turn around.
Harish comes to tell Sindoora that the high Command would like to speak with her.
BS leaves without revealing his face.




It's time to break the fast, Sindoora comes to get Amar to come out and help break Divya's fast so that people don't start talking.
The husband and wives all stand in 2 lines.
Divya is by herself, crying.
Amar comes down and she is happy.
She joins the line but Veren stands in front of her and says he knew she was going to fast for him.
Amar turns around to leave.




Divya begs him to wait as she fasted for him.
Amar asks who she really fasted for.
He knocks her plate of food down.
Sindoora tells Divya that dropping her plate before the end of the fast is a bad omen.
Amar leaves the room and Divya follows.
Sindoora whispers to Veren that he has done well.




He asks what's next.
She says she will let him know.
Divya begs Amar to believe her and not to believe the people who are trying to create a rift between them.
Amar says Veren is there and he has no way of coming back to her.
Divya says it's all a lie.
Amar asks if she has proof.
She stares at him.




He says he believes Veren.
Divya is now crying.
She begs him to believe her and to help her break the fast as she believes the mother goddess will prove her innocence.
He ignores her.
She says she won't eat anything till he gives her water and food to break her fast.
He tells her to do what she feels like doing.
He walks away and she faints.




He rushes to her.
A doctor comes to check Divya and says she's dehydrated.
Amar gives her water to drink.
The doctor says Divya should be alright in a few hours.
Sindoora follows the doctor out of the room.
As Amar turns to leave, Divya grabs his hand and thanks him for helping her break her fast.
He doesn't respond.




He leaves the room.
Sindoora tells Amar that Divya pulled such a stunt in her previous life by fainting to get his attention.
She asks how come Divya has not been able to get any evidence to prove that Veren is lying; it could be that Veren is telling the truth.
Amar says he doesn't know what to believe.
She tells him to trust his instincts.
Chandra takes her meal to Rajiv's place so he can help her break her fast.




He's not in the house.
She gets tired of waiting so she returns home.
Sindoora enters her room and asks why she's worried.
Chandra says she's fine
Sindoora says she's lying.
Chandra insists she's fine.
Sindoora says she's her sister and would help her with any situation.




She hugs her.
Sindoora inwardly asks why Chandra is crying for Rajiv who is a pawn in her bigger plan.
There is a flashback of Rajiv being held in a room by Sindoora's thugs.
He's been beaten and bruised.
Sindoora tells them not to allow him leave the room.




Sindoora tells herself that she knew Chandra was up to something when she partook of the fast so she followed her and when she saw Rajiv, she knew Rajiv was the same person and had to get him away.




She vows that Chandra would never find Rajiv.
Divya is sleeping alone in her room.
Veren enters and drops a chain by her bedside.
He sees Amar coming and pretends to be talking to Divya.
He stands by the door and says he knows the chain may not mean a lot to her but he knows she still has hidden feelings for him.




He leaves the room and shuts the door.
Amar is upset.
Divya wakes up when she hears the door shut.
Amar remembers Sindoora's words about Divya being the same deceitful person in her former life.
Divya opens the door and sees Amar.
He asks why she's shocked to see him.
She says she's not shocked.





He says she was just with Veren in the room.
Divya swears he wasn't in her room.
He tells her to stop lying as he just saw Veren leaving the room.
She says she was asleep and just woke up when she heard a sound.
He says she just said Veren wasn't in the room now he's saying she's not sure.
He sees the chain by the bedside.




He asks if she would say she has never seen it in her life before.
Divya says she's never seen it before.
He says he saw Veren talking to her but she denies and she's still denying the necklace.
He says there is a letter V on it and the only name that starts with a V is Veren.
He throws the necklace on the floor and storms out of the room.





Divya is livid.
She takes the chain to Veren's room and throws it at him.
He says he got her a gift to mark the festival.
Divya says she's tired of him as he's a characterless person.
She asks if he thinks there will be no consequences for his actions.




She tells him not to pull any more stunts as she is giving him his last warning.
She leaves the room and walks straight into Sindoora.
Sindoora says Divya is losing so she shouldn't waste her time trying to defeat her.
She says she can arrange for Divya to leave Amar's life.




Divya says nobody can take her away from Amar.
Sindoora says Divya is all talk and can't do anything.
Divya says if Sindoora thinks nobody can defeat her then she's mistaken.
Sindoora says Divya never backs her words with actions.
