Abhi is in his room, watching a show on TV and laughing.
Pragya tells him to reduce the volume.
He ignores her.
She turns down the volume with a remote control.
Abhi tells himself that he would not irritate Pragya since she still has the Power of Attorney papers.

She gives him some drugs to take for the pain in his head to help him sleep better.
He thanks her.
She says she should be thanking him for saving her from being humiliated.
He says he didn't do it for her and if she really wants to thank him, she should give him the keys to the cupboard.
She asks why.
He says he wants to make copies as he's not able to get his things when she's not around.
She says she always brings out his things before she goes out.

In the morning, Grandmother complains to Ronnie that she doesn't like the flowers he got for the engagement.
He says he will change them.
She continues to fuss over everything.

Pragya sits on the couch, pretending to read a magazine but watching and listening.

Abhi sees her and thinks of a way to keep her busy so he can try to get the papers from the locker.
He tells Aunt Indu that Pragya is doing nothing while Grandmother is working.
Aunt Indu goes to Pragya and says she's not doing anything.
Pragya says she already paid for everything.
Aunt Indu tells everyone to stop working till Pragya joins them.
Everyone stops.
Pragya says she wanted to give them freedom today but since they don't want it, she will give them something to do.
She gives everyone a task to do.

Abhi seizes the opportunity to go and see how he can get the papers.

Alia wonders how to get Vijay into the house.

Abhi hires some men to come and break open the cupboard.
Pragya enters the closet and sees them.
Abhi takes her out and says he doesn't want the cupboard anymore so the men are trying to change it.

Pragya realises what he's doing.
She tells him not to move the cupboard as she has kept something very important inside it.
Abhi says he's the most important to her as he makes her all the money so she should forget about what's in the locker.

The men tell Abhi that the job is done.

Abhi tells them to take the scrap outside.
He follows them outside and takes the papers out of the damaged locker.
Pragya sees him and decides she will have to do something about it.

Abhi hides the papers inside a lamp holder in the room, then decides it's not a good idea.
He cuts the mattress open and hides them inside.
Pragya sees him but he has no idea.

Purab helps Bulbul put on her necklace.
Alia sees them and says she will come back later.
She changes her mind and says since she already disturbed them, she might as well do what she came to do.
She gives Bulbul a present.
Bulbul reluctantly accepts the box of jewelry.

Abhi sees Pragya getting ready for the engagement.
He teases her.
When he leaves the room, Pragya tries to take out the papers from the mattress but Abhi has put duct take over it.
He enters the room and asks what she's doing.
She says her earring fell.
He says they are not there.
She asks how he knows.
He says he swept earlier and didn't see them.
She says she will look elsewhere then.
She tells him to go and change his outfit as she doesn't like what he's wearing.
He says he will wear another one for her farewell.
She asks why it seems like he's trying to get rid of her.
He says even if he gets all his properties back, he won't let her leave him.
She is surprised to hear that.
She asks why.
He asks if she doesn't know.
She says she wants him to say it.
He says they've spent so much time together; when she leaves who will he fight with or torture and make do the house chore?
She asks if he will only keep her to torture her.
He asks what other reason will make him keep her.

He said he's going downstairs and she can join him if she likes.

He leaves the room and Pragya takes out the papers from the mattress.
She switches them with the previous one Abhi made her sign demanding she gives him hugs and kisses.

Pragya joins Abhi downstairs.
He tells her the party was all Tanu's idea.

Alia spies on them, wondering when they can get out of the way so that Vijay can come in.

Sarla and Janke arrive.

Alia tells Tanu that she is never with Abhi these days, making him get closer to Pragya.
Tanu gets upset and goes to tell Abhi that she wants to talk to him.
He follows her.

A lady comes to see Pragya.
Pragya tells Ronnie and Payal to receive the guests and be alert.

Alia is relieved that Pragya and Abhi are now out of the way.

Vijay arrives in a beard and turban.
Even Alia doesn't recognise him.

He tells Ronnie and Payal that he's the caterer of the event.
Ronnie calls Pragya to tell her that the caterer doesn't have a card.
Pragya tells him to allow him in.

Pragya is talking to the lady who arrived earlier, Survi.
Survi thanks her for helping her get a job.
She says she wants to leave the city and get away from it all.

Abhi comes to ask Pragya why she's not receiving the guests.
He sees Survi and asks about her husband.

Pragya takes him aside and tells him that Survi wants to leave the city.

Abhi calls her husband and asks if anything is wrong with his marriage.
Her husband asks why.
Abhi tells him his wife is planning to leave the city.
Her husband says he's been looking for her.
Abhi tells him she is at his house.
The husband says he's coming over.
Abhi asks him what happened.

Pragya tells Survi not to just give up on her marriage.
Survi says people don't just turn bad, something makes them do it.

Guests are presenting gifts to Purab and Bulbul.
The women of the family tease Bulbul as she blushes.
Purab tells Bulbul that he wants to see her blush.
She pinches him.
Alia brings them another gift and says she hopes they like it.

Grandmother whispers that it's quite strange that Alia is being so nice.
Pragya says she already told her that once Alia sees Purab and Bulbul are married, she would have no choice but to accept it.

Alia wonders why Vijay is not there yet.
Vijay stands behind her and tells her not to turn around.
He says he's been there the whole time.

Bulbul is upstairs worried about Pragya.
She hears Vijay talking to a man and telling him not to miss his target as soon as Pragya stands in a position, she would die.
Bulbul walks towards where she heard the voices but she doesn't see anyone.

Abhi thanks God that he has the papers.
He decides to celebrate with Pragya tonight then afterwards he will use the papers to get his properties back

He dances with her.

Tanu is furious.

Bulbul is worried.

Everyone claps when the dance is over.

Tanu paces about wondering what Pragya is up to.
Alia walks up to her and asks if she's upset because she saw Pragya and Abhi dancing together.
Tanu says she is upset with Pragya as she doesn't know her game plan.

Bulbul is watching them.

Alia tells Bulbul to relax.
Tanu asks why she's telling her that.
Alia says she has learnt about Karma so she has decided to change and be kind to everyone and she wants Tanu to be the same way.

Bulbul wonders what's going on and who could be trying to kill Pragya.
She starts to look around for the person.
Purab asks what she's doing.
She decides not to tell Purab about it so she doesn't ruin his good mood.

Pragya is serving herself something to eat.
Abhi tells her the food is for the guests.
Pragya says it's for everyone and has no name written on it.
Abhi says he will eat from her plate then since it has no name on it.
He takes the plate from her.

Vijay comes in their midst to get food and they don't recognise him.
He sits down and slips a substance into a drink then gives it to a waiter who serves it to Pragya.
As Pragya puts the glass to her lips, Abhi takes it from her and sets it on the table but it spills over.

Vijay walks up to Alia.
She asks what he's planning.
He tells her not to worry as he will do his job done.
He says he already made an attempt and didn't succeed but he will try again.
