Twist Of Fate - Season 1 - Episode 32

Mitali goes into their bedroom to berate Raj for refusing to take a construction worker's case and now her father is losing money.
Raj says he won't do anything illegal for money.
Mitali asks what he has ever given her.
He says he gave her a good life.
She complains she's the daughter in law of a wealthy family but she doesn't even have good clothes; she wonders why she even married him.
Raj tells her to leave him then.

Grandmother enters the room and tells them to stop fighting. She complains that it has been the case since they got married, unlike Abhi and Pragya who are very happy and are on their honeymoon.
Mitali tells her that she doesn't know what's going on, Abhi and Pragya are in Mumbai, they never went to Shimla and in fact Abhi is performing at a concert as they speak.





Suresh sees Rachna's phone on the bed and picks it up.
He sees a message from Akash asking her to meet him at a certain hotel.
H asks his mother for Rachna and she says Rachna went out.
He assumes she has gone to see Akash, so he decides to go and teach Akash a lesson.



Grandmother watches Abhi at his concert on TV and gets very upset.



A neighbour asks Bulbul about Pragya.
Bulbul sees Suresh watching and says Pragya is away on her honeymoon in Shimla with Abhi who makes her her really happy.




Suresh gets to the hotel to meet Akash but as he passes by one of the rooms that has it's door open, he sees Pragya and he is shocked.
Pragya is turned away from the door so she doesn't see him.

Suresh decides to call and find out what's going on.
He calls Pragya on the phone and asks her how Shimla is.
Pragya lies that it's very beautiful and with Abhi by her side, it's even more beautiful; it's cold and Abhi has given her his jacket to wear.

Suresh wonders why she is lying.
He tells her that he's glad to hear she's doing well and she should take care of herself.
Pragya feels his presence and turns towards the door.
Suresh hides.
He then concludes that Abhi is doing the same thing Akash did to Rachna.


Pragya returns to the room feeling uncomfortable. She decides she can't stay in the room any longer, she will go out and enjoy herself.



Tanu and Abhi are together at the concert venue.
He asks how she could think he would fall for Pragya; sometimes he feels sorry for her but he knows she's very cunning.
Tanu tells him not to fall for Pragya's pretence.
Abhi vows to make Pragya's life hell.
As the walk away, Purab comes out of hiding.
He heard their entire conversation.



Suresh sees Akash and enters his room asking for Rachna.
Akash says she didn't come.
Suresh goes through the wardrobe and curtains.
Akash insists she's not there.
Madvhi calls Suresh on the phone to let him know Rachna is back home.
He asks where she went and Madvhi says she went to the dressmaker.
Suresh leaves Akash with a warning.




Pragya goes into the hotel restaurant and sits down.
Some policemen come into the hotel saying people there is a report that people are taking drugs at the hotel.

A lady sees the policemen so she sneaks into the restaurant and sits at the table with Pragya.
The policemen enter the restaurant.
When the lady sees them, she leaves her bag on the chair next to Pragya and says goodbye to her.

The police come to the table and ask Pragya about the bag.
Pragya is shocked to see a bag.
They search the bag and find drugs.

The senior officer orders for Pragya's arrest.
Pragya tries to protest but they take her away.
Suresh sees them as they take her away.



Abhi and Tanu are backstage in the van.
Abhi looks worries and Tanu tells him not to think about Pragya too much.
He says he can't wait to get Purab and Aliya married, then he will throw 4 eyes out of his life.



Grandmother arrives at the concert venue and asks for Abhi.
She is directed towards the van and as she walks there, she remembers how happy she was when she was planning Abhi's wedding and the promise she made to Sarla and her family that Abhi will make Pragya very happy.



The police take Pragya towards their van. She begs them, saying she's a respected lecturer from a good family.
They ignore her and put her in their van along with the other girls they arrested.



Suresh approaches one of the officers and tells him that he knows one of the girls, she's not a drug dealer.
The officer tells him to come and explain at the police station.



Abhi is still with Tanu in the van.
Grandmother enters and sees them sitting together.
Abhi is shocked to see her.
Grandmother asks what he's doing there and what Tanu is doing there as well.
She tells him that he should be so ashamed of himself.
She raises her hand to slap him but stops when Aliya arrives.
Aliya thanks Tanu for calling her and tells Grandmother that Abhi's management threatened to file a case against him if he doesn't perform at the concert because they already signed the deal so Abhi had to perform.
Tanu says it's the truth and if Abhi didn't show up today he would have been in very big trouble.
Aliya asks where Pragya is.
Abhi says she told him to come for his concert, he told her that Grandmother would be angry but Pragya said work must come first and Grandmother would understand.
Grandmother says she wants to talk to Pragya right now.



Pragya and the other ladies are brought to the police station.
The police inspector tells them to phone their families.
Pragya panics as she doesn't know whom to call.



Sarla says she feels like something horrible or someone important is in trouble.
Bulbul says everyone is there so who can it be.
Purvi's mother says maybe Pragya.
Grandmother tells her that Pragya is with Abhi and she is fine.

Kabir calls and asks Sarla how Pragya and Abhi are doing.
Sarla says they are on their honeymoon in Shimla.
Kabir says he really wants to see Pragya when she gets back.
Sarla says she will invite Pragya and Abhi for dinner so Kabir and his family can attend.




Pragya tells the inspector that she can't phone her family.
He asks if she's ashamed.
Pragya says her mother is not well and she won't be able to bear it.
He orders her to make a phone call.
She tries to call Abhi and he doesn't answer the call.
The policeman asks if he's her husband or lover.
Pragya tells him to watch mind his language.
He asks her who her husband is.
She says he won't believe her.

He asks her again and Pragya say it's Abhishek.
They asks if it's the actor and start to make fun of her.
She tells them it's the Rock star.
They laugh again and ask why he's not answering.

Pragya decides to call her grandmother.
She says grandmother is not answering and they are all probably sleeping.
The inspector gives orders for her to be sent to jail.
Pragya is crying.
One of the female officers tells her boss that Pragya is crying and she thinks she may be telling the truth.

Suresh arrives at the police station.

The inspector says he won't let Pragya go until a member of her family comes and if no one shows up, he will put her on the news.
Pragya begs him.
He asks why her husband didn't pick his call and he left for the concert.
Pragya says it's because they don't get along and he doesn't like that her.
Suresh is almost in tears.

Pragya tells them she's really Abhi's wife and he can look it up on the Internet.
One of the subordinates says he read that Abhi married a girl who wears glasses.
The inspector continues to make fun of her.

Suresh appears and says she's not lying.
Pragya is shocked to see him.
They make fun of him too and ask if he's her husband because he wears glasses too.
He says he's her friend and neighbour.
He tells them that Pragya is innocent and from a very good family.
They tell him to go and bring her family if he's really her neighbour.
Suresh leaves and Pragya begs him not to go and tell her family.




Abhi gets to the hotel room and doesn't see Pragya.

He panics as he remembers the assurance he gave his grandmother that he will bring Pragya to her later.
Grandmother refused to go at first till Aliya had to convince her.

Abhi sees one of the hotel attendants and asks if she has seen Pragya.
She tells him all about the arrest.
Abhi is shocked.




Aliya and Tanu are sitting in the car.
Aliya berates Tanu for not being discreet with Abhi and almost ruining their plans.


Suresh rides home and thinks of Pragya.
He breaks down in tears and blames himself for what is happening to her; if he had just married her, Pragya wouldn't be going through all this now.
He decides that he has to get Pragya out of the situation.


He gets to her house and sees Bulbul closing the windows
He begs her to wait and she tells him to leave.
He tells her that he needs to talk about Pragya.
Bulbul says Pragya is on her honeymoon with Abhi in Shimla.
Suresh says she not, she's in Mumbai, he saw at a hotel and now she's been arrested.
Bulbul meets him at the door and tells him to keep his voice down so no one else hears.

Sarla appears behind Bulbul and asks who has been arrested.
Bulbul says it's no one.
Suresh says it's Pragya.

Everyone is shocked.

Sarla asks how it is possible.
Bulbul says she will go to the police station.
Sarla says Bulbul should stay home as the police station is no place for a girl. She says she is Pragya's mother and should be the one to go.
Grandmother says she will go with her.
