Twist Of Fate - Season 1 - Episode 29

Pragya tells Bulbul to stall Abhi and not let him come out, while she finds a solution to get rid of Purab.
She goes out and closes the window.


Abhi comes out of the bathroom and Bulbul asks if he likes the house.
He says the house is a bit like the people who live in it, a little boring.
He moves to the door and Bulbul drags him back.
She asks if he likes her sister.
Abhi says he finds her sister like a big book, looks interesting but very boring.
Bulbul says he hasn't answered her.
Abhi says he finds her sister very exciting and loves playing games with her all day.
He tries to leave again and she holds him back.





Pragya tells Purab that things have changed and if her mother finds out about he and Bulbul, she won't happy.
Purab says he came to find out about her and Abhi and not about he and Bulbul.
Pragya says she and Abhi are happy and he knows Abhi wouldn't normally attend these sorts of rituals yet he's in her house.
Purab says if Abhi is there, then he has to leave.

Sarla stops him on his way out and insists he must eat something as it's his first time there.
She tells Pragya not to let him leave.



Bulbul asks Abhi if he has a new song or CD.
Abhi says he has in his car and he will go and get them.
Bulbul tries to hold him back but he says he's going.
He makes his way out.



Pragya tells Purab that this is not the time to discuss his issues.
Purab says the sooner he can clear it up, the better and he doesn't want his relationship to create problems for anyone so it's best he ends it all now.

Abhi walks in and hears what Purab said.
He looks at Pragya then he realises Bulbul was deliberately keeping him from seeing Purab.



He says "Hello" to Purab says he's happy he came to see him.
He asks what they were discussing and if his friendship with Pragya is over.
Purab asks what he's trying say.
Abhi asks if he interrupted them.
Purab says no he just came to see.
Abhi says he came to see him, he understands.

Sarla brings the snacks and Abhi introduces him to Sarla as his friend..
Sarla says she knows and she met him at their reception.
Abhi asks if she has never met him before then.
Sarla says not at all.
Abhi looks at Pragya and concludes she's always been conniving and never let her family meet Purab on purpose.

Purab insists he has to go.
Sarla tries to get him to stay but Abhi tells her to let him go because he has a lot of work to do.

Purab leaves and Sarla takes the snacks away.

Abhi turns to Pragya and says he's sorry for disturbing the two of them.



Abhi phones Tanu and tells her he will go home, pick his clothes and come over to her place.
He gets up to leave and Sarla sees him.
She asks where he is going and he says he is going home.

Sarla says it is customary for him to stay as the son in law when he comes for the post wedding ritual. She asks if his grandmother didn't tell him he had to stay over.
Abhi says he has to go as he didn't bring clothes to sleep in.
Purvi say its okay and he can wear Kabir's clothes.
Abhi protests and it doesn't work so he gives in.



Bulbul takes Pragya shopping for a post wedding ritual present for Abhi.
They go to a shop where Pragya had bought a yellow tie for Suresh in the past.
Bulbul asks Pragya to choose which shirt colour is better.
Suresh enters and says the maroon shirt is better.
Bulbul gets upset and tells him not to choose clothes for Abhi.
Suresh asks Pragya if she is okay and if she is happy.
Pragya says she is happy with Abhi and she doesn't know how many times she has to repeat herself he should just accept it.



Bulbul and Pragya return home.
Purvi tells them to come and see how good Abhi looks in Kabir's clothes.


Abhi comes out in Kabir's oversized traditional clothes.
He tries to touch the shirt into the trousers but it doesn't work.
Bulbul and Purvi burst into laughter and Pragya covers her mouth to hide hers.
Sarla asks them why they are laughing.
Bulbul says with the clothes, Abhi doesn't look like a rock star.
Sarla tells her to stop making fun of him.


Pragya is sitting on the bed.
Bulbul and Purvi ask her questions about Abhi.
Pragya says he is weird.
Abhi enters the room and Bulbul says they were just asking Pragya about him.
He says he's sure Pragya will say he is weird.
He tells them he wants to talk to Pragya alone.


They leave the room and Abhi tells her it's all her fault that he was over fed and had to dress in these clothes if only he didn't listen to his grandmother.
Pragya says she knows exactly where he would have gone and she couldn't care less but these rituals are important to her and her family so he should please stay.
Abhi complains there is no air-conditioning and he can't share the bed with her.
Pragya says she doesn't even want to share the room with him.



Abhi strolls to the terrace of the house and sees Pragya's grandmother drinking.
He asks what she's drinking and she says it's cough syrup.
He asks if she has cough.
She says she doesn't and it's just a code word for country liquor.
He says so she drinks.
Grandmother says she's in the last phase of her life and she wants to enjoy herself.
She asks about him and he s tired of being downstairs as Pragya is boring.
Grandmother says she knows and has often complained about Pragya too, when she tells jokes, others are in stitches but Pragya won't crack even a smile.
Abhi asks if she agrees Pragya is boring.
Grandmother says of course.
Abhi says he likes her.
She says she is already a fan.
He says he wishes he could get a beer or whiskey.
She tells him to try some of her country liquor.
Abhi drinks and gets drunk.


Abhi gets downstairs and runs into Purvi and Bulbul.
They see his unsteady behaviour and know he's drunk.
He told them he had cough syrup.


Bulbul and Purvi go to the terrace to ask grandmother why she gave Abhi liquor.
She says Abhi took it out of her hands and he's such a sweet boy.




Abhi gets to the room and Pragya asks if he is drunk.
She is sitting on a blanket on the floor, leaving the bed for him.
He says he only had cough syrup.
He says he may be drunk but she can't see when she's even sober with her 4 eyes she's dry and irritating but her grandmother is a rockstar.
He falls on the bed and tells her to switch off the lights because he can't sleep when it's bright.
He throws a pillow at her.
She gets upset and tells him it's not his house so he can sleep on the balcony.

Abhi stands up and goes to her, pinning her against the wall.
Pragya says she will switch off the lights.
Abhi continues to stare at her and he begins to see Tanu's face.
He means close and she pushes him away.
Abhi realises it's her and he says she looks like someone scary from a movie especially with her glasses.
He says he wants to see what she looks like without them.
He takes them off and says she doesn't look too bad and a little cough syrup would help.
He asks her to tell her mother that he doesn't want clothes, he wants loads of cough syrup.



He tries on her glasses and sees double.
He says he now gets what she's so confused she sees Purab, Money, Abhi, Purab...
He says she doesn't get to see any of the good things because of her glasses.
He wears them to the window and see Suresh looking into the room.
He asks Pragya if he's the brother of Akash's girlfriend.
He says he hopes she closes the window when she gets undressed other wise everyone will see her.
He begins to undress.
Pragya tells him he can't get undressed there its his house.
Abhi says the guy likes to state right.
He exposes his stomach and Suresh closes the window.
Abhi tells her Suresh is gone.
He tells her that she and her whole family are boring except for her grandmother the rock star.



Rachna asks Suresh what he was looking at.
He says it's nothing he was just closing the window.
Rachna says he can't get rid of the memories by closing the window.
It's his fault for letting Pragya go and marry someone else.
She says it's the worst decision of his life and she wonders who he loves in place of a woman like Pragya.
Suresh tells her it's late.
She keeps begging him to tell her who the person he love is but Suresh ignores her and goes to bed.



In the morning, Pragya's family is gathered in her room.
Abhi has a hangover.
Sarla asks if he's not feeling well and they should call a doctor.
Abhi says he has a hangover and would like a cup of coffee.
Pragya remembers how his grandmother taught her to make his coffee.
She goes to make it.

Sarla blames grandmother for giving him cough syrup.
Abhi begs Sarla not to scold grandmother because he really likes her..
He tells grandmother not to drink cough syrup anymore as he would bring her a bottle of scotch.
Purvi says if she drinks too much scotch, she will make crude jokes.
Abhi warns her not to make fun of grandmother.
Sarla tells Abhi not to bring any scotch because she won't be able to handle grandmother.
Abhi tells grandmother to come to his house whenever she wants a drink.
Grandmother agrees.


Pragya brings the coffee.
Abhi is surprised when he tastes it.

Abhi calls for his grandmother and jumps up and out of the room.
They follow him to the living room and he keeps calling for his grandmother.
They tell him she's not there.
Abhi says he knows only his grandmother can make his coffee like that so who made it.
Sarla says Pragya made it.
Abhi stares at Pragya.
Sarla tells him to start getting ready while they go and get his food.


Rachna comes out of the doctor's office at the hospital and Akash sees her.
He asks how she is and she says it's none if his business.
He says he cares about her.
Rachna says she doesn't need his sympathy.
He holds her hand and says he wants to talk to her.
A group of women come out to harass him for troubling a pregnant woman. They threaten to call the police but Rachna tells them to stop because he's the father of her child.
The women leave and Akash concludes that Rachna must still have feelings for him



Pragya picks up Bulbul's journal and Purab's photo falls out.
Abhi sees it and gets upset saying she is married to him and still chasing after Purab.
Pragya says they will talk about it at his place.
Abhi says he will expose her to her family that she is a cheat.

Bulbul is passing by and hears Abhi.

Abhi says Pragya is dating his best friend who rejected his sister for her and then she rejected Purab for him, she separated him from his best friend and Aliya from her beloved and he promises to reach her a lesson and the day Aliya is reunited with her beloved and he gets his best friend back, their marriage will be over.


Bulbul listens in shock.



Abhi says he will separate Pragya from her money and her family.


Sarla meets Bulbul standing at the door and tells her to take the gifts in.
Bulbul opens the door and Sarla follows
She asks if they are almost ready.
Abhi says he is.
Sarla gives him the guests and says she hopes he likes what she has given him.

Bulbul is in tears as she and Pragya fear Abhi might expose the secrets to Sarla.

Abhi tells Pragya he will wait for her in the car.

Sarla tells Pragya she will not cry but she can see her off.
She tells Bulbul to pack the bag and bring it outside.
Bulbul wonders how she can talk to Pragya with no one around.

Abhi says goodbye to the rest of the household.

Pragya hugs her mother then Bulbul.
They all follow Pragya out.

Bulbul stays back and breaks down as she remembers all she heard Abhi said to Pragya.
Sarla comes inside and begs Bulbul no to cry; they should be happy Pragya is married and everyone in her new family loves her.
Bulbul cries even harder.


As Abhi and Pragya get in traffic, 2 little boys come to the car window to beg for money.
Pragya gives them and Abhi asks of she thinks she can impress him with that.
She says she never does anything to impress anyone.
He asks where she gets the money, does her ex boyfriend give her?
He gets a phone call and afterwards tells Pragya there is a surprise.
Someone knocks on the car window and it's Tanu.

She tells Pragya to move so she can get in.
She gets in and Abhi reaches across to kiss her.
Pragya is squashed in the middle.




Abhi asks Tanu when she started following him.
Tanu says she followed since he left the cheap neighbourhood.
Tanu tells Pragya to swap seats so she can sit next to Abhi instead.
Pragya gets up and falls on Abhi's lap.
Abhi tells Tanu that that's how she is, she never misses an opportunity to hit on him.
Pragya moves closer to the window and Abhi tells Tanu he missed her so much.
Pragya looks at them and Abhi says if her boyfriend can come to see her at the house, then his girlfriend can come to see him too.
